Leipzig have very strict wage limit so all their players are gettable.

Only if they also have a very strict limit on the amount they will sell players for and looking at the fee they got for for Werner, it's seems they aren't the Marxists Levy is looking for.

Him ( to raise the funds ), but I’d also sell Sissoko and many won’t agree, Winks also.
We can't sell three of our CM's and only bring one in, we'd be massively light and the games are gonna come thick and fast.
Ndombele and Sissoko for Sabitzer maybe, but we'd need to keep Winks at least.

And sissoko

I'd prefer to sell Sissoko but (a) Ndombele's sale would raise more cash and (b) I reckon Jose would want Mousa to stick around as a squad player.

edit: oh sorry, did you mean sell Ndombele and Sissoko?

Well fuck me.

I didn't know that. He would be a great acquisition and his all round game, goals and creativity would be very much needed still in our midfield.

I'm not sure who would make way though..

Dele alli, erik lamela, Sissoko or ndombele

I was just adding Sissoko into the list of players who could go to make way/raise funds.

If the manager doesn't fancy him and we have no money and he is the most lucrative player to sell to rebuild the squad - it doesn't seem like much of a debate to me. Aurier, Foyth and Ndombele will get you the best part of 70m - we could do some serious damage in the market with that.

How proven is Lamela at international Level? 25 caps in 9 years and many of those as a sub. He’s a good squad player, nothing more. Eze has the potential, so,at this stage, would be a better bet.

So yes despite his injuries he has represented Argentina on a number of occasions and therefore has the pedigree that Eze has yet to achieve. I am not saying that we should not buy Eze if JM wants him. My point is that he should not be brought to replace Lamela as Eze is not yet ready. We need to strengthen our squad for next season not weaken it.

I'd happily swap Sabitzer for N'Dombele.
If Ndombele goes he's got to be replaced, and Sabitzer seems like one of the few potential suitable replacements who might be interested in joining us in our current state. As much as I'd like to see Ndombele stay at the club and eventually succeed with us, Sabitzer seems like he'd make a bigger impact in the short term.

Saw Sabitzer the other night. Made a point of watching him as we were linked with him before. Was really impressed. Strong in the tackle and can pass too. He looked like a much better winks.
