Yep this was Emerson's fault, he's killing all our attacks. The tactics are perfect otherwise.

He’s been very poor recently but that was a genuinely good performance (minus the chance they should have scored in the last couple of minutes)

Bloke's been battered by Spurs "fans" more than I can remember any player being vilified.

Well we saw tonight - just like we saw against United - just what he brings to an already shaky fucking backline. We were a complete mess in both those games defensively.

He came on tonight and did his fucking job and we were so much better for it.

He's not world class and never will be. Do we need better? Yes.

But my god we are worse for it at the moment every time he's not on the pitch.

Apart from the general sense of confusion between him and Dier over that Kolasinac header, he did just fine.

Yep credit where its due he came on and helped balance the team, who would have thought a rwb playing at rwb would help the balance of the team.

Man if this guy was better in attack he would actually be so good. He gets forward well and with Kulusevski holding the ball better than Moura will get even more chances.

That last sentence is completely bollox mate. Sorry. Maybe for tonight only but definitely not for other games.

Last game alone, we instantly became a hugely better team esepcially on the right when he left.

Not battering him tonight, he played well, but boy that statement of yours cannot be any more wrong.

He was replaced on the right by Sessegnon who did okay but as we saw tonight is hopelessly exposed in that position. So why did we improve after 63 minutes when Royal was replaced?

it was because we had scored by that time so an already tiring Bournemouth we're stepping off us to conserve their lead.

He's a scapegoat. He's not the reason for us being shit and not the reason for us being world class.

That's my point. The narrative around him is utterly ridiculous as we saw tonight. Same fans slagging his subbing on disappearing like the cowards they are when he plays fine and we play well.

He gets credit now when he doesnt make a complete mess of things. Yes he did well tonight, but lets not blow it out of all proportion, he is still inept going forward and in the Conte wing back style he will never be good enough, wouldnt trust him as far as I could throw him.
