Lol, watch him play well in one game and think he’s great. He is very poor week in week out and there are serious question marks over his mentality. I have boro mates as I’m from the north and they literally hate him, they rate their current young right back more highly for a reason. Ndombele looks genius against Barca and city in the champions league but ask Lyon fans about him playing away and a small club in France and he doesn’t bother turning up and we all no how that ends.

Seems bizarre Boro were asking for £15mil for him when he has 12 months left in the summer and they don't rate him.

Shame as at that price he does seem a risk even with the games I've seen where he's been outstanding going forwards so can understand why we didn't go for it but I'm sure many others will be looking at him after today which is annoying.

Considering we need to keep an eye on out HG numbers and replace Doherty, this could be a clever deal. Personally, I would like to us go after Calvin Ramsay at Aberdeen instead of Spence but I'll trust Paratici and Conte if they feel Djed is the better option for the RWB role.

In the summer, we not only have to replace Doherty but also look at replacing likes of Rodon & Sessegnon. I dont think Sessegnon is improving much - so we may let him go. I feel Conte will want to sign a LWB who is an upgrade on Reguillon as well, given his finishing is not good enough.

Rodon might go too.

So, we will have to look at home grown players.

IMO, we should target Livramento for RWB and Jack Harrison for LWB
