Tbf it’s not so much this deal it’s every deal!

Why he makes everything so hard
It’s only hard in your head. In reality levy said well offer this and they said okay cool. Deal sorted

problem is very journalist/itk putting everything out there like there’s a problem

Levy has done well here, and also kudos to Paratici, this loan to buy stuff is worth pursuing if we continue to buy from Italy and Spain. Try before you buy. By loaning 3 players (Lenglet, Danjuma and Kulusevski we have essentially saved ourselves a bundle on transfer fees).

Of course even if Juventus had have dug there heels in, it still would have been a good deal.

Kulusevski is top class, he has been off the boil a bit since he came back from injury but no doubt he could be a superstar here. If you compare that we are basically paying a similar fee that we paid for Gil or a third of what United paid for Sancho/Anthony it really is a bargain.

Just remember Daniel, this €30m came out of the budget already 18 months ago, it isn’t €30m out of this summer’s budget!

This position of yours I can accept and even agree with, I only really argue that in this instance it is a great position to try to negotiate. Since the player has been performing poorly and Juventus needs money. Worst case scenario on the last day you would pay the agreed 35m. Btw, i love Kulu, and i think he is worth the 35m we would have to pay. I have high hopes he will be good again

So “Fabz” has basically put out the fire he created. Convenient. If it was simply announced that we’d agreed a deal for 30m there wouldn’t be any of this teeth gnashing. These twitter twats go around creating dramatic narratives that don’t exist, the absolute turd muffins.
Supply and demand. He only does it because so many numpties lap it up and click. If we all behaved a bit more maturely there would be no need for turd muffins like Fabz.

What "fire" did he create? Didn't he just report that we were trying to renegotiate the deal? And now it seems like we have?

The only fire I've seen has been in here. But maybe I missed something from Romano.

You think twatter is the only place with muppets creating dramatic narratives. Looking at some of the absolute dross on here, it's not exclusive.

Glad he got a little off the top. Not just because it saves us a little bit of money, but also, fuck the Italian clubs. Especially juventus.

Some of the comments in this thread are bizarre. For €30m, it’s an absolute steal, and still truck loads to come from DK. Great signing.

It's fair though because Levy has far too often not understood when you can try that and when you just need to pay it.

For example, Skriniar and Grealish - 2 players that we shouldn't have been doing that on and we missed out, paying for it in the long run as we either bought a cheaper inadequate alternative (Rodon) or eventually had to overpay elsewhere (Lo Celso).
I agree - but the difference here in comparison to Grealish and Skriniar is that Juve want to sell Kulu, so we hold more cards.

The only fire is created by fans with insane paranoia who will believe everything they read, especially when they can somehow twist in to a negative.

Life is much better and far less stressful if you take EVERY ITK and media "report" with a pinch of salt. Oh and also read the articles, because the majority of media outlets will clickbait with their headlines. Prime example being the double bid for Barnes and Maddison.

EDIT: Also never take aggregators for their word. They'll usually twist something or take it out of context.
