Didn’t he play with a 10 last season in Erikson, albeit in a 3 5 2? So Kulu could play the Erikson role well.

He’ll play off the right IMO cutting in on his left…..opens up space for wingbacks, just like sonny does on the left….

don’t see him playing a 10 role considering conte doesn’t seem to favour this and evidenced in the fact he’s just agreed to. Let out 3 natural number 10s leave the club…

I believe Conte is bringing him specifically for that central role.

Kulusevski started his career as central AM - He has said in past that his preferred position is no10.

I can see Conte using Kulusevski as the most forward midfielder in the middle 3 with Son & Kane up top in 3-5-2. Kulu has incredible engine. He also has the key passing ability to thread the ball through.

Certainly its going to be fascinating how he is going to be used .

Btw how many fucking players do Juve have? They're outcast XI could probably beat the first team over two legs and some dodgy VAR decisions

I think Bentancur will be a solid if not spectacular player for us. This guy I think could be special. At 21 he could be a key player to build upon.
I think Bentacur will be undervalued like Carrick was and we will only notice when he does not play

Can someone post a favourable youtube montage for us so that we can get our unrealistic expectations in place ASAP. Cheers.

Is that the party trick of Serie A? I see your crap winger, and I return to you.... a wing back!

Reminds me of the Britney Spears song…

??I’m not a winger
not yet a full back.
All I need is time.
A moment this is mine
While I’m in between
I’m a wingback. ??

Wonder if he'd work for us as the most advanced of a midfield 3, where he has played, or as a Number 10 behind two strikers, to transition the ball from halfway and then find the right pass.

Only Kane reliably does this, but perhaps Kulu could allow him to play further forward.

You describe something Dele could've benefitted from

Exactly this. He looks a big strong lad and should be another excellent outlet from the back. At the moment it's too easy for teams to just pick up Kane and then know that Moura or Son won't be able to take the ball, hold it up and transition the counter attack.
Kulu has that same strength as Kane to take the ball to feet, turn and pick a pass to Son, Kane, Reggie or Moura/Royal (whoever Conte picks at RWB).
Two big outlets in him and Kane makes a big difference in terms of creating space in behind on the counter transition.

Kulusevski reminds me of Dembele and Bentancur reminds me of Carrick a bit.

Agree on Kulusevski - Way he protects the ball is exactly like Dembele.
All these comparisons are ok but he has to show on the field. At the very least we can expect him to run & press all day long. He is going to be a fan favourite just for that

I'm sure it's been asked a 1000 times already but can either of our new boys take a decent free kick?

That's probably why I didn't rate him on first look. Imagine playing Dembele RW, you could see the talent but you'd think he was slow and not suited to it. When I see Kulusevski I imagine him doing really well as an 8 driving forward from deep in transition, and also in games where the opposition sits deeper, drift wider into half spaces playing balls through to advancing full backs or coming inside to shoot or cross.

Kulusevski expecting to receive his work permit today, though Bentancur will probably have to wait until Friday.

Remember when Conte had to 'wait' for his permit before he could take training, and absolutely definitely didn't start work before that... I'm sure the same will be true for these two.
