At 21 I'm reckoning on him getting even better than he is now comfortably. We're buying a quality player ready for the first team in the role that we want and with huge improvement to come, I'm down with that.

Its been a rough up & down start & i do love a good moan or 20 but i do think we should reserve a final judgement until the summer window. If thats a shit show also & Conte walks, i’m all in on a good cursing out or 18.

I think people are underestimating this guy. He was brilliant at Parma and hasn't been given a serious run of games to get going at Juve. He's built for the Prem and I genuinely think he is going to be a good buy for us.

Agreed. One of the things that's really stood out to me in the videos is his strength - which we've often lacked for on the right. It's a genuinely different option than Lucas, which you need given that we play different styles of teams. Also, I wouldn't put too much stock in his performances at Juventus the last two years. The team basically has imploded over the last 2 years with their manager disasters. Look at our team the beginning of the year vs. now with Conte - it matters a lot when you're playing for a side with a top manager.

If the players are on reasonable salaries this has only upsides. Both have high ceilings and should be motivated to get back to where they were.

Also - the fee for him is almost certainly higher because of the fact that this is a double swoop and Juve would rather us pay more for Kulu than Betancour because of the sell off fee attached to the later. So I suspect we're getting a 'deal' on Betancour if we're paying 40 mil euros for Kulu.

1000% this would be absolutely fantastic business.

That being said it’s the minimum we should be doing in Jan to try to make sure we are strong enough to get top 4 and really ideally we need these 3 and a 3rd signing on top of this ideally a RWB.

Get those 3 in and I think conte would have enough to get us back into the CL.

I urge anyone that hasn’t done so to go and watch his season highlights at Parma. One word, wow. He looks an excellent footballer, with very clever passes, pace, two feet, good eye for goal and a high work rate. He got 10 assists that season but I counted about 8 more clear cut chances he created from that season, that all should have been scored.

You're gonna be disappointed if you're expecting excellent quality from Bentancur.

Have both shown extended periods of top form and performances. Both in 2019-20 obviously when both were at their best, but reaching those levels and even surpassing them is def possible, given their ages. Kulusevski’s Parma season was elite and Bentancur was consistently excellent under Sarri. Irreplaceable player in Scudetto campaign.
