Lloris is absolutely shellshocked. The impact of several years of mismanagement is heavy and pervasive.

The thing is, the toxicity has started to become a part of the culture and that is really worrying.

Here's hoping this is where some pros come out and criticise the fans, perhaps sparking a change.

Hated the jeering, felt for him. It was his mistakes, but the clubs fault we lost the game.

He shouldn't have been on the pitch in the first place. Sent on by inept stubborn management, who were put in charge by equally inept footballing people at the top. It's them that should be getting the grief. Not someone trying their best, but simply just not good enough.

While he is nowhere near good enough, the way our fans vilified him today is not acceptable.

If Conte and his even shitter copycat had a brain and the balls to change formation (before it’s too late), he would never have been on the pitch.

I feel extremely sorry for him as a person and it’s a shame this will probably be his last ever appearance.

Our managers and chairman are at fault for this clusterfuck of allowing a situation turn so poisonous.
Absolutely nailed it. Horrible listening to the boos. Actually left the stadium after that. Failure of management, Conte, Stellini but ultimately yet another fall guy for Levy. He’s the one that’s completely untouchable and yet the cause.

Felt ashamed to be a Spurs fan at the Lane. Even my 16 year old lad said can we just go home 😞.

I hope support by actual fans is shown to the guy in the next home game, whether he's on the pitch or not. Makes the fanbase look really shit to be honest and they don't even realise the negative impact it could have on players other than Sanchez also.

The general feeling around the club at present is negative in so many ways.

It’s very worrying, when you speak out and try and support the club you just get accused of being a levy lover. I support spurs end of

Just look at Liverpool, they are having a way worse season than us and the are coming from several years of great football and are used to winning. When they are behind, the kopp gets louder and even sing Salahs name after missing a pen.

Our fans have so much to learn. As this sigh and booing just pulls players down and make them nervous. So the fans at the stadium, either get your act together or do not go to the stadium as this will be your weekend for man many more years

Also it is a double loss, as you pay and fill the pockets of Enic while still not supporting the team with BOOS . you are ONLY supporting Enic!

There’s so much pent up frustration in the crowd , look at the season we’re having the football we have to watch , if that boo means Sanchez never puts on a spurs shirt again ( as awful as it sounds ) then it did it’s job . Dier will be next , the place is toxic . Even under sherwood we beat the crap teams away and home pretty comfortably and played half decent football , what I’m watching at the moment is alien to me .if your tactic is to sit back and defend then don’t f@ck!!! Put Sanchez on the pitch .

I disagree massively with booing any individual player. It’s fucking shite. What separates our players and the Liverpool players though is that they have actually delivered in the past. That buys you good will.

Embarrassing to be there and to be associated with that today. I think Sanchez is a calamitous defender, I can’t deny that, but I feel so sorry for him, on a human level. The mood was toxic when the crowd saw he was coming on, so the fact he fucked up and cost us a goal gave people more ammunition. He should never have come on - it was the perfect opportunity to recognise we needed another man in midfield but Conte-lite is as rigid in his thinking as his mentor - but it doesn’t excuse the crowd in what happened.

Surrounded by dickheads every week now. Most of the recognisable faces near me have disappeared this season and the people who come in just generally do my head in with their comments/views. I’ve listed my seat a few times now too, so I’m not blameless. I think everyone’s just had enough. This season cannot end soon enough.

You should see the shit I get at work. Booing Sanchez is nothing compared to the pelters I got this week for not making my Q1 Budget.

Equivalent would have been a streaker running on the pitch and putting on my kit and playing.

Even when they had a dry spell they were never like ours are. They always support their players

You can see how Hugo feels during that interview. Stuff like this makes players not want to come to our clu and those at the club only think less of playing for us - It's human nature.

We should never boo a player for not being good enough. How can that possibly help the team or Sanchez? He's aware he isn't up to standard but he's clearly trying his best. If he was disrespecting the club or not trying then fair enough boo him, but he clearly is doing his best.
