Puzzling how at times he can look really strong on the ball and others just clueless. I'm sure it just comes down to experience but something he definitely needs to improve upon.
Not about being schooled, although he wasn't schooled when facing Madrid last year... It's just about he seems to panic on the ball a lot.Nothing puzzling about a young defender being schooled by Barca

I remember once in the game he tried to clear a ball with his left foot or something and hit it straight to Messi, than another time in the second half he made a nice dribbling move to surpass the oncoming forward. Just think he needs to calm down.It is a strange one. I think he is good on the ball but he does panic at times.
Hopefully this will improve with experience.
Think it just comes down to experience for Dav. It does seem like the CB's are constantly having to sprint back due to players getting in behind the fullbacks and making their jobs very difficult.I don’t get the cluelessness claims really. I think he’s a monster of a defender unfortunately we don’t have defensive minded full backs.
For all those critical of Walker we are much worse off defensively

You can't teach "big and powerful"...you can teach positioning and skills.I never really understood the hype last year. Yes he is powerful, but at times looks a total train wreck.

Didn't they switch in the last game to Toby on the left? He's definitely at his best in the three, or to the right of Jan. Playing left of Toby he's looked awkward every time.
Definitely didn't look the same early in the season but he was great today. Two games in a row super solid.
Back to his confident, composed self.
Total beast on his day.
