Got a bit worried seeing Romero on the floor, just prior to being subbed. I think it was a bit of cramp, and he walked off unaided.
Hopefully will be fine for the weekend. That game could feature three Spurs players.

He should be fine. He was jumping around with his team mates in the post match celebrations.

So Argentina play in Spain on Sunday (v Estonia) followed by Brazil in Melbourne on Saturday. Get the air miles in!

We’re building a very serious team and probably halfway there. Lloris Perisic Romero Son Kane Kulusevski all top draw. Dier Davies Hojbjerg Bentancur good players but probably below those other 6. Exciting times.

Whilst the focus was on Messi’s five goals v Estonia, Romero was not listed in the Argentina squad. Any news on a possible injury?

I said after the Italy game I was worried he was on the floor before he was subbed. Looked a bit like cramp, but maybe it was something worse.
It didn't look too bad, but we've seen injured players walk off the pitch before and be out for months.
So just hope his omission was precautionary.
As we know though, Scaloni doesn't seem to worry too much about our problems. He started Romero, despite him missing the last few weeks of the season.
And I'm sure Romero was on board with that, it's definitely Argentina first with him and Lo Celso. I can completely understand that, but it's cost us before and probably will again. We'll just have to wait and see.

All the more reason to buy Bremer and have a suitable alternative to Romero who missed a large chunk of last season (3 months) through injury and international games, and still cam every close to getting the 10 yellows ban in the PL.

Sanchez proved to be a more than able back up. 3 clean sheets in a spin, and generally solid, bar his distribution

But his distribution is far from good enough. If he was in the team for 6 months due to a serious injury to Romero we would not challenge for trophies.

Bremer's distribution is no better in fact I would say it is worse than Davinson's
