Those Slide graphics don’t make sense. Why are they all the way left or in the middle etc. just random graphics to make it look snazzy

Got to stop standing on the half way line with the ball at his feet waiting for nothing to happen. He needs to push on sometimes. Break the line and move. Dragon did it a few times today with a great deal of success

Agree. I thought he slowed the game down a lot, especially in the first half.

I think he's instructed to wait for a player o close him down before passing. Our system relies on them coming out and us creating space.

perhaps it needs a rethink. Teams tend not to press so much when they are leading.

We do need some players to stay back and defend though

It's a good thing that he holds onto the ball, it can bait the opposition (one player get frustrated) to press, it can allow the team time to recover but sometimes it's also because no one is open or moving into space.

It's also very noticeable that he is the only one that does it.

It's the centre back and not the #6 given this responsibility.

He is definitely the best at it in the team and it's clearly part of the tactics.

I've never seen Ange moan/complain/shout at Romero for holding onto the ball. In fact I've never seen any of his teammates complain because they understand what he's doing.

Romero was pretty great in possession yesterday, as is almost always the case.

You would have to look really hard in the match/rating thread to find any praise for him though.

11th straight game without a yellow card.
Fair bloody play to him!!! I was worried he wouldn’t change his ways but he’s really grown up after the last red card, can see why Ange named him as one of his VC’s, true leaders admit their weaknesses and mistakes and work on improving them, credit to you Cristian 👏
