It's the fact they're all prolonged injuries to key players, rather than 1 or 2 games, they're all missing 5 or 6 minimum. And also all at the same time. It's unprecedented. I genuinely can't remember a season this bad for it

A few teams have been absolutely decimated by injuries. Off the top of my head, us, Utd, Newcastle and Brighton. Are there more injuries overall this year than other years I wonder.

We have to get someone in at the beginning of Jan , no excuses , we need a centre back desperately . Looking at Romeros record , he has now missed 33 games in 2 and a half seasons due to injury and suspensions . It’s never a week with our players , always a months to 3 months . I wouldn’t mind but he played the whole half and walked off fine and now it’s 4-5 weeks out , just madness .

At the same time our rivals have no issues at CB, Arsenal have virutally played Saliba and Gabriel in all PL and CL games, City rotate but have all their CB options available, while Liverpool have had Van Dijk available and playing every single game, while they rotate their other options.
