theres a moment at 3:30 of this video where he gets fouled directly in front of the net while doing some fucking wizardry with the ball. Instead of looking for a call he finished the fucking goal. For a kid of his age, I fucking love that. Hope to god this is legit.

Would be brilliant to have an exciting, tricky winger that can actually beat a man with a piece of skill. Feels like something we haven't had for a while - all of our current wide players are more pacey and direct, rather than skillful in tight areas.

Really hope this one comes off.

Don't know much about him and I worry when the internet gets excited about a youngster from La Liga heading to the Prem.

However, just seen he is another player at the Olympics so wouldn't be joining up with the squad immediately anyway. So those of you getting excited will have to wait :)

Looks like a real prospect. And to manage to get Lamela and his enormous contribution of a whopping 17 (seventeen!) goals in 8 years off the books is a Paratici masterclass.
17 league goals, 37 in total. And 47 assists. Averaging above 10 goal contributions per season.
Fair to be opinionated (we all are), but don’t have to get your facts deliberately wrong to support your opinions mate?

A technically gifted trickster on the left wing - have we had one since Ginola? The YouTube-clips at least makes him look like a proper Spurs-player of old times: love it! ?

Negotiation to transfer Bryan Gil to Tottenham for 25 million and Lamela
  • Sevilla see the opportunity to enter a large number in an absolutely stranded market even at the cost of shedding one of their greatest talent from the quarry

Sevilla and Tottenham Hotspur are negotiating the transfer of Bryan Gil, as this newspaper has been able to confirm with sources close to the talks. The news was advanced this noon by the journalist specialized in the market Fabrizio Romano, who speaks of an agreement about to be closed in which the Nervión club transfers his jewel for 25 million euros and the record of Erik Lamela, Argentine midfielder of 29 years.

The news is surprising because of what Bryan Gil means as the maximum symbol of the Sevilla quarry. But the market is absolutely stranded, there are no offers that meet the expectations of the Nervión club for its most outstanding players and the opportunity to enter 25 million euros, plus the record of a proven footballer, who has gone through Serie A and the Premier League, has been a very great temptation for the Nervionense executive committee, which has given way to negotiation.

The clubs have advanced in the last hours in this agreement that would mean an important injection to undertake several of the signings that the football department directed by Monchi has in mind. Sevilla's squad has deficiencies in all its lines, except that of the goal, the only one reinforced less than a month after the start of the League.

Time is short, the market continues without moving and, once again, the quarry offers itself as the opportune solution. A solution that, surely, will raise blisters in the Sevilla fans, who have heard their quarry rectors boast so many times when only Jesús Navas currently represents them in the first team, as an exceptional case.

Negotiations will continue in the next few hours, although according to Fabrizio Romano and what this newspaper has been able to confirm, the agreement is not far from being closed under these conditions.

Sounds like they need the money then. I’m assuming this guy came up in the kounde discussions at some point once we realised that was unlikely and that Sevilla needed some cash ASAP to make some buys of their own.

I mentioned Kane earlier but if this guy is as good as suspected then once the market improves financially then there will be interest in Spain for him. That might be why we are willing to push the button on it.

I don’t really know the right thread for this, but now as most of our breaking news come from foreign sources, use DeepL to translate the articles instead of google translate. It’s a hell of a lot better.

I'd imagine we will see a lot of interchange between Son and Gil during games. Nuno done it a fair bit with his Wolves wingers, would just randomly change it for 20/30mins.
