I really hope to be proved wrong but this guy being half the Kane money is just utter embarrassment. He hasn't even become a key player for Wales after Bale retired. Hoping this one doesn't even happen if I'm honest. Just smacks of a panic buy for HG purposes, such poor planning

Well aren’t you a tub of joy. He’s young, quick, home grown and has more than 1 year left on his contract. Someone who we’ve been linked with for lots of the summer.

So yeah, that’s most of your points covered.

Is it just me or would I rather Hudson-Odoi 👀

Yes I would say it is just you.

2 players who are the same age where:

1 has 45 goals in 158 games and has just come off a season scoring 8 premier league goals in a struggling team fighting relegation. Has had no serious injuries and has pace to burn.

1 has 21 goals in 155 games, has just come off a season in the bundesliga where he scored a massive 1 goal in 22 games, and has had several long term injuries in his short career.

Without the names, which one would you choose…..

I see his point from a playing style perspective as CHO is more of a 1 on 1 player but you make good points here and CHO hasn’t been the same since his Achilles injury.

Just one point and sorry if it comes across as petty, Johnson scored 8 league goals last season, not 10.

Not the best source, but Tom Collomose from the Mail is reporting that Forest are expecting to sell Johnson to us for £45m today.
Always seemed like the compromised price with us offering 40m and them asking 50m, plus Brentford offering 43m. Could be an educated guess but I bet it ends up being something like that.

If you look at premier League only, it looks even worse for Hudson-Odoi

Not saying we’ll sign anyone but didn’t we sign Porro on deadline day during the last window?

Signed him early in the day according to many and then didn’t announce it until the end of it, presumably to look busy right up until the end. Let’s see/hope if the same happens today.

Not sure about panic buy, we’ve been linked for weeks. But as a Welshman I agree with the rest. Don’t rate him at all. Very underwhelming, my Forest mate told me we were after him about a month ago and I said ‘hope not’. I’m not the manager though, if he sees a role for him then what do I know. Still don’t rate him though.
