Forward planning people! Sonny isn’t getting any younger and we need to get our future stars in now if we can!

it’s similar to the HG issue, if we fix it now or address it mostly it allows us to deal freely in future windows. If we don’t address the HG issue now in coming windows we’ll be looking only at HG players which limits us!

Such a short term view, this is a rebuild not a one season shoot out. I cant see Ansu coming as a straight loan either.

This may be one of those opportunistic things that has prompted the move (for Fati). He's available now, on a loan, (probably with an 'option' to buy), and Ange may have decided to move Sonny to the 9 spot. Meaning, we need depth on the left. Perisic and Solomon aren't considered as first 11 material, I'd imagine. Fata would theoretically be an upgrade. Kulu and Brennan would be our RW forwards for the season. Also, as others have said, we are looking to the future as well. This may very well be Sonny's last season with us. Given his decline, that wouldn't be a surprise.

Getting close to the 48 hour mark and I'm starting to get the feeling that we've left all these deals too late. Surely Levy knows that this window is different and ending with Frazier Campbell isn't good enough after we watched one of the all time greats leave for over 100m.
