Can he take a decent free kick? serious question
We've needed an tricky & pacy wide player to challenge Son and Danjuma could be a great fit for us. I imagine he'll win us a fair few set-pieces and more chance for us to add to our goals from those situations.
His 10 league appearances only add up to a total of 476 minutes though, so it's not quite as bad as it seems.I just looked at his stats he only has 2 in 10 this year as well so if you take it up until the end of last season its 20 in 40 very good for a winger in any league. Does anyone know why he's not been on it this year and being allowed to leave?
Then the only solution is the opposite way, sack the manager. Don't hire an Auteur and then demand they make the next avengers movie in your studios style. Hire a manager that fits that paradigm but don't try and implement what you're saying (which I prefer) with a manager who doesn't fit that system. We hired a manager with a specific project, he told us what he needed, we agreed and we went out to get it and on the way decided we know better or more to the point we didn't really know what we actually wanted. That's the thing we Spurs, we never do.
Whilst Conte is here we know we have hired a manager with a specific style who needs specific resources to be the best version of himself, back him by giving him what he needs or sack him and hire a manager to suit the approach you said. We haven't sacked him so back him with what he wants.
OK so told the Danjuma stuff is true, agent led and we've bitten.
LEVY OUT!!!
Quite easily one of the funniest comments I’ve read on SC.This signing feels like we're stealing a sandwich from a homeless person.
Or we've decided to call it on Lucas and assume he won't be available in the 2nd half of the season.
Looks like this lad called it first, might be worth keeping an eye on his account for rest of window. Leaks on our stuff tend to come from Italy.
The guy did his medicals and before signing the manager has got the sack. I think in the circumstances it's fair to reconsider. Not mad keen on fucking over Everton and it does raise questions about his character but maybe this is modern football.
The Zaniolo talk was Roma insisting upon an obligation in the summer. If that’s true & we weren’t comfortable, then I can see why this deal is attractive.
Then in the summer we can evaluate if we want to keep Danjuma, go for Zaniolo, both or neither!
Fair enough. Seem to be a lot of conclusions being jumped to though (generally, I'm not referring to your post here) about what this potential signing does or doesn't mean for other areas of the squad. Frankly, anything that improves our options is welcome!I was replying to the comment I quoted.
Moura is hard, obviously he plays as a right winger but his profile is miles away from what Conte wants from that role. It's not necessarily a direct replacement but would allow Richarlison to play on the left/central, without losing depth on the right.I think they know Moura is done anyway, every Danjuma goal for Villareal is off the left or central, I'd be shocked if he plays RWF.
Not really sure why people are rating this as funny. As good as Son can be he's never been amazing technically. Danjuma has great feet, an amazing burst of speed and genuine 1v1 ability. Kulusevski and Gil are very skilful and can beat their man but not with the same ease and regularity as Danjuma. Will be our most exciting, fastest most skilful winger, just hope the manager is ok with it.
This is a great deal seriously.
Yeah, this has been meat and drink for me of late, but this signing makes a lot of sense if it doesn't affect the Zaniolo deal.I Love a bit of Levy bashing
