I care not for how good people think Danjuma is or isn't, the pertinent point is that Conte looks once again to be shafted on his preferred and longstanding target of Zaniolo because Levy knows fucking best.

Everyone is assuming this means Zaniolo is off the table. I wouldn't be so certain. Zaniolo is a rotation option for Kulu, where as Danjuma would be rotation for Son. Richarlison, rotation for Kane. That's a pretty strong front line whatever way you cut it.

If it's a case of having to loan out Gil to get Porro so he is another number in on top of Zaniolo then fair play, an experienced addition.

I'd it's a case of Zaniolo being a no go and this is what we offer Conte then Daniel Levy is a fucking dickhead.

If this means we are not following up on Contes preferred target then it is shocking. Which I assume would be the case Not a question to yourself Trix.

This is exactly why so many are angry at Levy. Backing the manager is getting in their choices and providing them the tools needed. Not changing direction and having no plan at all.

The fans made their stance clear last night, less than 24 hours later Levy does this. Ridiculous!

Not sure why people think Sporting would be desperate for Gil on loan - they've got Edwards already.

It's far more likely that this is a rash move on the cheap than it is that Danjuma has been part of the strategy of the window and we'll go and get Zaniolo as well. Get realistic - Levy thinks Conte is off so is plugging gaps in the squad as cheap as possible until the summer when we can go back to square one.

What if LW wasn't seen as a priority initially, but because Son isn't showing any signs of finding form, we've decided to make a move for an LW anyway? If it's a six months loan as suggested, the downsides to this are minimal.
