I, along with probably most of you on here, think we have had a poor start to the season. I'm not that surprised to be honest as I thought this season could be a struggle, but it does seem some of you are making far too big a deal out of our start.

If we focus on the facts.

1. We are only 2 points outside the top 4.
2. We are level on points with Man City.
3. We are level on points with Liverpool.
4. We are only 3 points behind Man Utd.

At the end of the day, it is only 4 games into a 38 game season and we are well and trully in the mix with our biggest contenders for the top 4. Lets not get too carried away.

Its just so annoying that we lost to Wigan. Had we turned up for that game we would have won and been on 8 points which would have been a very good start. Wigan game messed us up real bad

I'm not at all fussed, tbh. Worse things happen at sea, as they say. The time to panic is if we're only two points ahead of the team in second on the last day of the season.

The season doesn't really get serious until December. The crucial thing is to be there or there abouts (4th spot) until then. We'll hit form long before then anyway. Of course we need to keep ourselves in the Cups aswell. So as long as we do well enough in the Cups and keep ourselves in with the pack in the League we'll be fine.

I'm still really positive about this season. I think VDV and Gallas when fully match fit will be 2 top class players for us. While the best is yet to come from many of our other players too. We would all love us to be on top form from day one, but under Harry we seem to be finishing season strong anyway, which is a better way to go.

After finishing 8th after our worst start in Premier League history, making up the ground after this start is nothing.

We really should have won all four games which is the frustrating thing. But as I said, there are only two teams that are really firing on all cylinders and that's to be expected especially as United are always slow starters.

Agreed. But we should have done a lot of things in the last few seasons which we didn't do. As we all know, the EPL isn't played on paper or won and lost on stats.

I agree that our league position isn't bad but we've had two poor performances on the trot now. We need to snap out of it and how knows when that will be?

Citeh drew 6 games in a row and it cost them 4th spot. I'm sure there will be lots of twists and turns. Everyone's dropping points at the moment

The main positive for me is that we've look like winning as opposed to look like losing all the games we've played in so far. And that bodes well for the rest of the season IMO.

We've faced a lot of disruption and distractions this season. Injuries, new players, the pressure we seem to put ourselves under each and every transfer window! All these things have an effect. We need to work our first eleven, try and play the nucleolus as much as poss and build from there.

Also, some players - Lennon, Corluka and Palacios need to find some form quick.

Below par start after looking so impressive against city. The mood has'nt been helped by the fact we didnt sign the star striker and we have lost two England internationals for a considerable part of our season.

However Harry is tinkering with the formation from his tried and trusted formula (4-4-2) and this will take time to bed in.

I would sell van der Vaart too. He's hardly set the league alight.

Sell VDV as well. He contributed nothing against City, Stoke, Wigan or Young Boys.
