I haven't watched it but apparently the full video for the press conference provides proper context, something the media intentionally left out earlier in the day when a journalist posted the video.

Collymore and his 'big opinions', regardless of whether he is right or wrong, was going nuts about this earlier (on Twi...)

Someone responded to him saying it was as if Guardiola didn't hear the question properly and answered like that. Collymore was saying how he should watch Liverpool-Newcastle from 96 and how they actually met in the summer and Pep said hi.. but Stan doesn't let the truth get in the way of some publicity.
