Good loan for him, wanted him to come to Norwich though, would have been nice to keep an eye, saying that tho, TAH hasn't played yet.

If Pekhart plays, this will be an awesome move for all involved, but he might get complacent scoring a hatful in the Championship, it's so poor at the moment.

well its obvious we've got a number of striking targets lined up if we're letting him go, this can only be good news, for us and for pekhart....

Good to see Pekhart have a chance to test himself, but the lad wasnt getting in match days squads so I dont think it guarantees an imminent signing

Exactly what I was thinking, so let's hope we're both right!

But until they've been brought in this looks like the most ludicrous decision imaginable.

Our top strikers are: Berbatov; Bent; Dos Santos; Pekhart; Barcham; Dawkins. I don't think there are players elsewhere in the first team squad that look like they could do a job as forwards - not even Jenas whose value in attacking play is in the late runs he makes.

So, of those six that I've listed, two will now be out on loan, a third doesn't look like he wants to play for us and Barcham has made one first team appearance and has had his squad number removed. Essentially, unless someone comes in, we're left with Bent (who I'm comfortable with) and Giovani who is more of a withdrawn striker than an out and out front man.

Utterly inept.

They must have sealed a couple of striker deals...otherwise it's a little bit difficult to understand why they let Pekhart go...

Good luck to the young lad, I think he has the potential to be a good striker for us so this is a good idea to get him playing some actual competitive games and if he is doing well by January then let him stay there till the end of the season! Right Sweepstake time.....How many goals will he get before January...

I think he'll struggle to get in the Saints side at the moment, they have so much good young talent in McGoldrick / Surman / Llalanna / Dyer, it seems that McG and Holmes are the front men for Saints at the moment, and I just don't see Pek dispacing them.

Hopefully he will though and then we can watch him on the Championship on Sunday mornings!
