I think we’ll get Lo Celso and Sess in. I just don’t think there’s enough time left to do all the business we’d need to do to get Dybala in as well.
...Dybala is going to depend on whether a certain player leaves or not.

The frustrating thing is that if Madrid were really serious about Eriksen then we'd probably have had our answer by now, which would makes things simpler but if we are waiting on Eriksen to decide or worse waiting for a bid that never comes then that may put us in a sticky situation - a non-comital player who could still leave but we can't replace cause our window has shut.

Considering our situation, I wouldn't be surprised if the club have been contacting Madrid to try and coax a bid, so we can move the situation along. My fear is Madrid come in with a late Euro window bid for Eriksen, leaving us short (still happy with Lo Celso).

Hopefully the club are pushing both the contract and Dybala deal to the limit so that a decision can be made quickly. Hopefully Eriksen is being upfront and honest about his situation too.

In some ways it would be great for Zidane to walk from Madrid as Perez may push the Eriksen deal seen as he was pursuing it and not ZZ. (Not that I want Eriksen to go, more just for clarification.)

I mean, if you’d have told me at the beginning of the window that we’d end the window adding NDombele and Clarke, while also keeping Eriksen and Toby, I’d have been happy.
Disagree. This squad has been absolutely on its knees since about February. We got into the CL next year by the very skin of our teeth, we simply have to improve/strengthen.

Completely unrelated but Zidane leaving Madrid is the worst thing that could happen, with Eriksen and with Poch.

Still hoping Eriksen stays and signs, think hes a better fit than Dybala.

My onions.

If we need to sell to get Dybala. The obvious one would be Eriksen.

I love Eriksen. He is world class. Hes taken us up to the level we are now. But if he means what he said a month or so ago where he wants to try something new...then I think we should let him. Whether he only had eyes on Madrid or if hes open to any other European big boys is not known.

We still haven't won a trophy, even after being so close and are a few signings away from getting there.

It is a risk as Dybala and Lo celso arent premier league proven. But if they are 2 people Pochettino wants then I really want to see Levy back our manager. He is the best manager I have seen in my life time (supporting since '98.....so understandable)

I know we wont get Dybala though. So I need to get over my obsession of him......
So hopefully eriksen gets a new contract and we get in Lo celso too.

But that's the worry, isn't it. Will Eriksen sign? I hope he does. We need him to sign before the window closes as we then enter that period of risk - Madrid coming in and getting him.

Whilst we still have signed Ndombele and likely Lo Celso, we haven't really added another alternative. I think Zidane leaving may speed things up quicker and help us avoid this risk as Perez may feel that he can get Eriksen now that his coach isn't there to oppose it.

Most of the frustration for most people having read a few pages of all the different threads stems from interpretations and not the facts of the information given to us. You can't get annoyed at an interpretation of information it's just fucking stupid to get angry because of your own theory, if somebody spells out bad news that's different.

I'll give some examples of reading last few pages of a few threads:

JJ has been quiet therefore that's bad news as he was quiet last year but the reality is the last thing he spoke about and didn't delete was being asked whether he was worried and he said "absolutely not"

Then earlier today Hercules said Confident Lo Celso and Sessegnon will get done and people interpret that as we won't sign anymore, just fucking deal with the facts unless he specifically says and no more stop getting upset because you've taken it and spun it in a negative light.

Theorise all you want but only react to the what people actually say not what you've concocted.
I know ITK try their best and does things in good faith. But we can't be happy based on ITK. As the history of daniel shows we shouldn't be. We were positive and waiting for stuff to happens last two times two but then we found out the window was difficult and there was no one to improve the team that crawled towards top 4 and also due to bottlejob of others. Yes i know we played CL final but we shouldn't celebrate anything until its a win.

Yeah the Madrid job becoming available is not it right now for other reasons. But that's for elsewhere.

Thats fine but thats different to people getting upset by filling in blanks that arent there with the ITK, its fine to be concerned and not take the ITK as ghospel but taking what they say and spinning it and then reacting angrily to peoples own spin is ridiculous

If people can't be happy based on itk, they also can't be disappointed on itk. And that's a message for everyone. Barrels of salt needed.

In a weird way we could really do with this signing. Would give everyone at the club a massive lift and hopefully help us push past the mentality e had at the end of last season where we seemed to just be happy to be in CL final

If Poch wants him and he's down to leave Juve, easy ... he'll pick us, full faith.
But the question is if Levy can fork out at least 70mil ... and that's with Eriksen remaining, who looks unlikely to go.

I'm just hoping for this scenario:
Pogba to RM, Bruno to Man U, Lukaku to Inter, Icardi to Juve, Dybala to Spurs, Eriksen to ... (stay??)

Might go against the narrative, but neither of them were great 17/18 either.
Define "great"? Performing regularly in a team that finished in the top 4 and progressed in the cl is not too shabby for players that cost us a combined £13 million!

If we sold them, big clubs would buy them and we would get £100 million plus.

Both are top level players who happen to have had dips in form from time to time.

Paulo Dybala wants to stay at Juventus and fight for his place under Maurizio Sarri, according to Sky in Italy.

Sky Sports News understands Juventus are preparing to make an offer for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku and had been willing to include the Argentina striker as part of the deal.

But Sky in Italy say Dybala wants to remain in Turin and could return from his summer break early in order to start learning Sarri's methods.

People still just wants to discuss Dybala to Spurs - when all ITK are saying he’s only coming if Eriksen goes.

ITK also said Eriksen would sign, and with 2 weeks left - Dybala is pretty unlikely.
