So? No scout is infallible, citing one example to make Pleat out as incompetent at spotting a player is poor, Pleat's record as a whole is quite good, but he like every scout has his busts.

However, if we've seen how he sets up his scouting network and we carry on the principles and technologies he uses to identify targets, and keep his ethos in general, then surely it doesn't matter if he does leave?

Interesting - I wonder if he just put in his resignation, or has now served the notice period?
