I watched this show last night

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/northern_ireland/season_ticket/7951361.stm

was about Pat Jennings - what a keeper he was. Could honestly have been the greatest of all time.

It was a great show, took you inside the lane, into all the corporate hospitality rooms, changing rooms etc. Interviewed Harry, Jennings talked about new stadium, spoke about when Bill Nic signed him, spoke about all the old players etc. Would really recommend trying to watch it - i dunno if it would be on i-player or if you could maybe get it on a torrent.

Edit: I think you can watch it online using the link above.

If you haven't seen his "one-handed" catches you haven't lived.

A gentleman.

A gentleman.

Of the highest order.

His hands are massive - like 2 spades. Played most of his career when there where no gloves for keepers and the players where kicking those old leather casers. Must have had a few stingers in his day.

He spoke about how he is spurs thru and thru - how works for the club every saturday in corporate hospitality.

best spurs keeper I ever saw - he's in my all time spurs XI - for a while he was probably the best in the world, around about 1971/2

Caught the last 15 minutes on the box last night, really pissed off I missed the start of it, thanks for the link. I remember getting his autograph when I was about 9 or 10 what a keeper.

I'm sure I saw him smile that time playing for the Goons when he let a soft one from Garth Crooks beat him to knock them out of the FA Cup.
