.......A gooner pal of mine saw Harry and Scott Parker having some food together in Ninos in South Woodford eary evening.

Not sure what I'm hoping for but thought i'd pass on :)

I really would not be surprised to see him here next season. In fact I'd be surprised if he didn't come.

I guess if he does sign that must mean Harry either plans to play a three man central midfield or drop Sandro.

This would make sense.

Plenty of great players on show there

hope he is looking at rolando or paulo, two center halves for either side or the obvious too.. falcao just scored.. he is a goal getter no doubt about it

I like Parker but I really dont think he is better than Sandro. I mean I would swap him for JJ in a heart beat but I think Sandro and Pal are going to be excellent for us next season. The one thing Parker does better than San is score goals but who's to say now he has broken his duck Sandro wont go on to bang in 10 next season? And where does this leave Hudd and Modric?
I'm all for bringing in quality but where does he fit in?

Parker would be a great addition to the squad allowing us to offload deadwood like JJ.
Sandro cannot, must not be dropped for anyone.

Parker's more offensive than Sandro so it won't be a bad move to get him and use him at home and Sandro away.

Parker would give us so much, and would be a key addition in terms of leadership especially. I have always been a huge advocate of his signing and hopefully his season this year will have won over the detractors he used to attract on here.

I think he would essentially be a '1 in 2 out' replacement for Palacios or Jenas and O'Hara. I actually think I would rather Palacios left than Jenas.

And I am sure a three man midfield, or Modric starting from the left, would be the way we would go. Parker, Huddlestone, Jenas, Modric, Sandro would be a fantastic set of options to have in the middle of the park by any reckoning and would cover us across the board for all eventualities and situations, probably giving us all round the best central midfield in the Premiership.

No it doesn't. Harry is in Dublin. Gooner was winding him up and did a good job of it

i agree with everything except jenas. he is a complete joke of a midfield player. he must be fucked off asap before we get nothing for him at all

Parker in -> Sandro relegated to the bench -> Parker gets injured -> Sandro shows he's 10x better than Parker will ever be -> Parker walks back into the side ahead of him -> Sandro begins to get frustrated at the lack of football - Parker keeps playing -> Sandro gets sold -> Parker starts to show his age -> Sandro goes on to become the best allround midfielder in the world and secures a move to Barcelona -> Parker gets sold to Millwall -> Spurs are left with Jermaine Jenas.
