I blame @Tucker for saying we would proceed to go on a 3 game losing streak after Nuno won the manager of the month award.

It’s not easy being the oracle. But it’s a burden I must live with.

Nuno manager of the month. Dier player of the month. No goals conceded. And palace without a win against us in six seasons.

Was only ever going one way today.

are you kidding he doesn't care, he knew what he was getting into when he came to us. Say you don't need anymore signing publicly and take the fall when not having decent depth bites us in the ass

I suspect you’re way off on that one mate.

No one who watched our first 3 games would ever have thought that if Son was injured them Winks was the best option to come in. It is literally unbelievable that a paid manager has made that decision. Most people were asking for more creativity as it was and then we throw Winks in? This is why people are so pissed off, is not the loss of 3 points

That is a disgrace. What pisses me off is he did nothing! No attempt to change the game, no gamble and bring on an attacking sub. Just sit there with his fingers crossed. I could have done a better job and I know fuck all about football management.

So frustrating that we do have a bunch of players who can be excellent on the ball in proper teams which play front-foot football.

Kane, Son, Ndombele, Lo Celso, Gil, Bergwijn etc are all excellent players when put in a functioning, attacking team, yet we look set to make them play struggleball for another season at least for no reason.

Play the good technical players and we'll be better on the ball, even without any sort of system. Just depressing watching the same shit every week for almost two years now.

International breaks can fuck off but there is no excuse for that. Literally embarrassed by a manager that will be sacked by November.

Shit performance but that team selection was dreadful but not much you can do when half your team is missing.

Why we didnt ban the argentine players from going like the other PL clubs did with the brazil players is a joke.

But Levy said we would play ‘free-flowing, attacking and entertaining’ football. He’s not a liar is he?

That was terrible, but I really don't think you can underestimate how much not having Son, Steve, GLC, Romero, Sanchez, Dier after 5 mins available and us not being able to trust Tanguy has affected us.

Palace not kicking the ball out when Lucas was down was the turning point.
Good points but I think Nuno not making bringing on Ndombele and/or Gil at half time was the turning point.

It was obvious that the 3 holding midfielders weren't able to progress the ball (as I'm sure many would have predicted) and were just turning over possession and inviting pressure.

If I was Gil I'd be wondering why the shuddering fuck I was signed by Spurs. If he won't get picked for games like this then he deserves to go to a better club in January.

Honestly what the fuck are you people like? Did you think because we were top of the league we were the best team in the country? We ain't we have a bloody good side but not good enough to go to palace and dominate the game with so many crucial players missing let alone to lose another one in ten minutes and then go down to ten men. Of three substitutes to make changes we lost two to necessity so our options were taken away from us.
I'm disappointed too but some of you need get a fucking grip.

The worst thing out of all the awful things about today was Harry Kane. I mean I just didn't see him do anything of note.
Not just nothing of note, but hardly even seemed to care the entire game. Contrast this performance with the effort and emotion he shows when with the national team and it just leaves a bad taste. Just going through the motions with us.

This is not on nuno. He’s been thrown to the wolves. There wasn’t a proper investment in the squad this summer - simple as that. Nuno really didn’t have navy choices here. Playing Ndombele is managerial suicide and Gil is a kid. It’s hardly serious depth to call upon from a creative sense. This defeat was down to squad depth and lies at levy’s door.
This is such anti Levy nonsense. Honestly.

Because otherwise it would’ve been Doherty who Zaha would’ve murdered. Emerson did his best. No problem with him today.

TBF Emerson did ok today, never really got badly skinned by cry baby Zaha, once in the first half he done him, but he did ok, with doherty that score line would be much closer to double digits scoreline for CP
