One of the things I've noticed about Spurs is that we very rarely score any goals from outside the area. In many ways this is a good thing - we're not running out of ideas and just walloping hopeful shots at goal. The vast majority of our goals stem from passing and movement, normally culminating in Keano or Berbatov finishing from close range.
However, it would be nice to get the occasional screamer from outside the box. Aside from Huddlestone against Fulham, I can't remember any goals we've scored from outside the box, particularly compared with other teams. I don't know if this is down to players being crap at shooting from distance (I'm thinking about Zokora in particular) or whether the coaching staff want us to focus on possession and passing, so the players aren't encouraged to have a pop.
Any thoughts?
