Arsenal have just signed the best CAM in world football (according to the entirely impartial Lufti).

He's obviously an excellent player, and it's very annoying that they've signed him, but they were hardly short of classy playmakers before, it's other areas of the squad (pretty much every except for attacking midfield) where they really lack quality.

I don't mean to knee-jerk, and I honestly don't think that I am as I am not particularly emotionally distraught by what has happened today, but I absolutely cannot wrap my mind around how people are downplaying the Ozil signing. Have you all forgotten that Cazorla is as good on the left as he is through the middle? Their first XI is far, far stronger than it was as of yesterday.

What about Rooney, Silva and Toure?

They are great players dont get me wrong but last season they werent changing games single handily. They helped when they come and are world class but those players above are the best in their position in the world and Toure I did put in but last season he wasnt the player he was the year before and I could name better performers last season.

That said I cant name alot more better players in their positions than Aguero, Mata, Van Persie, Ozil and Suarez. We had our star and kept our word to sell him

This is the issue, its all good and well signing potential but until we finish we will struggle to keep those players when they reach their potential

He was pratically their best player last year.

An exceptional talent and will be fantastic for Arsenal

Only problem is him and Cazorla are best playing ACM.
