Good striker on his day. Will be a good temporary stand in for Kane if we cannot sign a better long term striker in my view. 2 days to go in the transfer market and I cannot see the club splashing more millions in this transfer market. We need a target man desperately.

Yeah, he'll be used like Lorente, sparingly for certain games or to give Kane a break. It'll only be very short term, makes complete sense. Rather get a top striker in the summer when there'll be more options.

Only person on earth slower and less mobile than Llorente. Doesn't score any more. Last time Chelsea started him he got hooked at half time and they played without a striker instead. Other than that, he's great.

Doesn't really need him to score that much; all he's got to do is make himself a nuisance to the opposition, and the likes of Son, Moura and Alli will reap the goals.

I think he has scored nine goals in four seasons?

If that is the case when does 'good striker on his day' arrive?

Chelsea will only delight in negotiating til the last with no intention to sell. Don't fall for it Tottenham.

I appreciate kids need stability but I don't want this has-been playing for us for four months so he gets to pick his up from school every day.

The fact that Chelsea would even consider selling him to us, (if they actually would), while they are widely known to be wanting a striker themselves, tells you all you need to know about him, no thanks.

Rather see Parrott get some game time than sign him, that way we can address the 'who's willing to watch Kane play problem'' in the summer properly.
