He was never settled in England it seems, especially once poch left . And never seemed up for the league.
Nothing particularly wrong with moving abroad for a job and realising it's not for you .

Certainly not gonna abuse him personally for it like many here.
Hopefully he gets his move this week and we get a creative placement as Dele isn't very creative these days and there's no Erikson type in the squad still

It is wrong when you are on 200 k a week and are not fit, personally think it shows a lack of respect for the club and himself.

And the money does make a difference, he can employ a fitness coach, chief and dietitian!

If he wants out being unfit is not going to help.

Story on sky sports right now that I pray is true...

Oof that would be a massive hit on the club's outlay. I'm not massively surprised that talks didn't progress.

The most frustrating thing about it, is that Levy knew the guy had an attitude/application problem before he signed him. It’s just another costly gamble that hasn’t paid off. Can’t win them all I suppose, but some of Levy’s decisions in the transfer market have been depressingly predictable over the years.
He was backing the manager who wanted him. Levy can’t win with some!

That's just a 2 week fine offense surely. 400k saved I hope.
Hopefully but the rule seems to be, to look at their obscene wages as market rate, but for fines we should compare them to ordinary earnings.

What a tragic waste of world class ability and potential, but getting rid is long overdue. No passengers wanted or needed.

That's it blame Levy. Poch wanted him for 2 years and the fans were criticising he wasn't being backed, but signing him is all Levy's fault.

Well, I suppose it's nice to know that if for some reason we ever needed some ITK regarding the taste of Daniel's ball sack, that you probably would also be able to provide that for us, by the sound of it.

I know it is a radical idea, but could they introduce some sort of clause in the players' contracts, that if they refuse to play, they get no pay?
I'm getting pretty sick of this now.
Don't think he has refused to play, he appears to be training with the 1st still. It's just that he has asked to leave, and we don't know the specifics just yet

That's a generous interpretation, especially when he refused to play before, as I remember, against Brighton.

I don't particularly want him to go as he can pass the ball to some extent, and hold the ball to some extent, at this level - qualities we are short on.
