AVB playing like a coward, should have rested Vertonghen fully. Bringing in another defender just gave the other team the impetus like we've seen over and over again this year.
You'd think he would have learnt that lesson by now.. :banghead:

Truthfully Dempsey should have never taken that penalty, he's ALWAYS struggled with taking them. He doesn't even take them often for a mostly weak US Nation team. There were several players on the pitch that should have been in line to take that before him.

Were starting to look vulnerable on set pieces this year. I don't know if it's because we drop into that defensive mindset when were winning and we get panicky and no one takes command or just were not organised.

We haven't really put a team to bed yet, we are like the acne ridden 15 year old that doesn't yet know that if charm, a prawn cocktail and a cheeky fingering doesn't work then rohypnol gets the job done too.
Well, that's, uhh, one way to put it.

Norwich and Southampton are shite, sitting back like that is just asking them to have a go. I think we'd close out these games better if we can get a ballplaying midfielder and play a target man who can pick up clearances (Ade)

I am pleased that Dempsey missed the penalty; to have got an equaliser by such blatant cheating would have been wrong.

Do you think the referee was correct to award the free kick they scored the second goal from?

Tell you what - LLoris is fast off his line, claims the ball well in the box...but yup, I feel far from safe with him between the sticks....it's that continental mental punching nonsense that leaves me Shakier that Stevens playing trick or treat at his own green door!

Was lloris at fault for first goal? No
Was he at fault for second goal? no

What I have seen of Lloris, world class! He needs to be first choice now

I have just one thing to say, and it won't be popular.

That was an absloutely outrageous, disgraceful dive by Walker for the 'penalty'. It made me sick to see it. I am pleased that Dempsey missed the penalty; to have got an equaliser by such blatant cheating would have been wrong. The only bad thing about missing the penalty is that it gives the scapegoat-hunting wankers an easy target in Dempsey.

Walker should be ashamed of himself. I hope the club fines him, and makes the fine public to shame him.

Was horrible to see.

On the replay it looked like there was a slight touch but it was minimal if anything and I think Walker might have been on his way already.

Just one of those shitty games that go against you sometimes.
Yea..... except for the distinct pattern that seems to be developing in terms of AVB making defensive/negative changes to strangle a game and hold on to what we have against teams we shouldn't need to (and it games we haven't looked overly under threat) and the game suddenly changing in the favour of the team we are playing who were previously under our control and we end up either losing the league or ending the game feeling lucky to have held on to a lead when really we should have walked over the line

The most worrying thing is that once again our frailty during the final 10 minutes of games has been exposed. It is a trend that has been evident since the first game of the season and still it shows no sign of dissipating.

It is bar none my biggest concern regarding this AVB led Spurs team. We will not achieve our prime objectives this season if the problem persists.

Disappointing result, but why does anyone care?

I was enjoying that, a deserved 1-0 lead but I needed a pee. Off I go to the loo, singing spurs are on their way to wembley!!. Even gave the missus a kiss on the way back to the sofa, to find Norwich had equalised. Writing was then on the wall......bollocks.

Really? Thought he was fantastic TBH and didn't really look like conceding. Saved out hides a few times before their goals.
