It seems like being linked with us is the best way for clubs to tie down their players this summer. :cautious:

What is he the 5th player linked with Tottenham who renewed a contract this summer?

Good career move for him, refine his end product and develop in Holland for a couple of seasons. He’s got plenty time for a crack at a top5 league.

If the club have a strong interest in him, this is probably good news for us as we seem to have other priorities this window.

We can continue to monitor his development and potentially make a move for him in the coming windows.

Yeah another few years at PSV will do him a load of good, I can't deny it.

Hopefully, he still loves Spurs and wants to come back one day - would be a kick in the balls if he went to Leicester/Dortmund though.

Guys we can't afford to buy ready-made stars. As none of the top players are interested in joining us right now.

We're a conference league side and need to be creative with our signings.

Madueke is only 19, English, and has a lot of potential that even Dortmund wanted to sign him. He'll more than hold his value with us.

Yet we managed to sign Romero.

Players care more about their wages than if we're in one particular competition that season. That's not true for absolutely every player out there, but for most.

We might not attract the biggest stars, but there's an ocean of players between prospects and the Ronaldos of the world, that would love to join us.

Players like Ings and Adama are "ready made", and I'm confident they wouldn't mind joining us despite us participating in the Conference.

It's a fine line you have to take and always a risk. Yes, it would probably be best for him to develop at PSV, but if you wait for him to become "PL Ready," than there is a decent chance we could be priced out.

If they want 40 million right now, that's pretty much the top of the Dutch tree in terms of transfer fees.

Good for him. His interviews really irritate me. I hope he achieves all the greatness he envisages for himself. His first touch is bad.
