the skills on vertonghen are immense im sure he should be a defensive midfield player not a centre back

I read somewhere that Vertonghen made more last ditch tackles than any other player in Holland last season. I'm sure he would make an excellent defensive midfielder, but I reckon he's even better as a CB.

I was thinking that. If Verts can replicate that kind of play and composure whilst popping up with some finishes, he will be an absolute legend, and no doubt a EPL player of the year candidate. Great technical skills.
