We had 14 players on international duty NewUtd only had 5. Make of this what you will.

This is the same with Chelsea 14 and WBA 5.

Playing Devil's advocate one could argue that those that were on International duty should be fitter and on form playing constantly as oppose to having a two week lay about!

I'm going to back our side in this game. I'm hoping we've cured our defensive problems, and that our Danish DM will be back on top form to help out during their rasher moments. Sure, a Steve Bruce side will always be streaky, but I'm hoping that, by the time the final whistle goes, our attack will have sliced through the middle of their defence, leaving them frazzled. And, if all that occurs, at least Bruce will have an answer to the following question when he's grilled after the game...

I'm not sure your post is kosher, tbh :cautious:

I don't have a memory, and I'm far too lazy to scour Google to find out.

Am I right in thinking that results went our way before the Villa game, and we were all shitting ourselves because of the EL shit-show & talk of squad unrest etc?

Yes

I was ribbing @Shadydan a little bit, every time another result would come in, in our favour.

I think we chalked up 3 from 5 in the end :)

Even for the pessimistic spurs fan like myself...I actually have a good feeling about this. 3-1 win.

Newcastle in the top 4 for conceding first, so there’s hope to get ahead. Let’s hope NewUtd had players away on international duty as we did. Maybe that was the problem for Chelsea today with WBA had fresh players?

And Spurs are joint 2nd with Fulham and Brighton for most points dropped from winning positions. 13. (n)

I believe we win this match tho'.

If so good! I rather prefer the yellow kit to the green one!

Yeah so do I mate. It's weird as I liked the green before but there's something about it that prevents me from really liking it as a kit, can't put my finger on it!

Yes but our recent league form is very good whereas NewUtd, it's thier general form. Agree should win this, fingers crossed.
