Newcastle striker set for summer Spurs switch?
Newcastle may have to brace themselves for a bid from Spurs for Obefemi Martins should they get relegated.
An insider at the north London club has said that Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is a "big admirer" of the former Inter Milan frontman.
Only last summer, Martins was talking up a move away when he said: “Arsenal is a big club that everyone wants to play for. I am thrilled and it will be nice to play for such a team.
“Is Arsenal a good club? Yes. Would I love to play there? Probably, if Newcastle are ready to listen to them. But if Newcastle says no then it’ll be no.”
While Spurs fans won't like Martins' comments about Arsenal, they may appreciate the 24-year-old's pace.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy often strikes a hard bargain and may try to get the Nigeria international for significantly less than the £13m buy-out clause.

I know its Fansfc but I do think if its true he'd be a good signing. Proven in the Premiership and him and Keane would work well together IMO.
