I personally think you have to wait for the official and promotional pictures of the shirt and kit in full. Not that you can't have an accurate opinion beforehand but I remember seeing last season's as a standalone shirt and thinking it was horrible but seeing it as a full kit made me appreciate it a lot more and I ended up quite liking it.

I agree with @JonnySpurs in that I personally can't see how it's 'ugly' or anything at all, especially when it's so plain and that if anything it's just boring. I did like UA but even going on just that picture of the Nike one above, I'd take that over the UA one with yellow in it and the one with the sash every day of the week. Actually and the home one from Soldado's first season, even though I know a lot liked that but I didn't as I absolutely hated that collar. I've only really liked 2 of UA's home kits in fact, their first and last but I've liked a lot of their change strips.

I think a simple design like that in Navy blue for the away kit with either white shorts or socks would look so good.

I honestly don't see what's so wrong about the leaked plain white shirt. Some people saying its 'atrocious'....really?

While we had UA people were desperate for classy, simple kits, now we're gonna have Nike and get just that, people want more fuss.

Can't win!

I have no problem with the use of templates, I don't really see why so many get worked up about it.

Whatever the kit is the people being most vocal about it on the Internet are always those with a negative opinion. Having frequented Spurs message boards since the late 90's, and taken part in many a 'new kit debate', the consensus of the majority always seemed to be - why can't we have a simple, plain white top with navy shorts and navy and white socks*. And it would appear that this is exactly what Nike have delivered. And yet reading comments on here you'd think the majority of fans think it is dreadful. Personally, apart from the fact it is the same as all the other Nike team's kits, I quite like it. I will of course reserve judgement until the official kit launch and the full kits are shown properly for home and away.

* Not including any consideration for the red logo.

Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth folks.

It'll look smart in the flesh with a modern fitter shape.

Also imagine it in navy, with white AIA and white shorts.

Maybe the ones who didn't want plain are the ones complaining? Just a thought

I found this on Twatter, and it looks like a pretty good mock-up of what we should expect the away kit to look like.

Looks v smart.

Every template of away kit I have seen has been pure sex. Let's face it based on the France life Nike do Navy relatively well so I doubt it will be bad.

Because its so fucking boring and uninspiring, we want to have our own identity man. Remember when we used Puma and we had the same exact kit as dozens of different clubs in eastern Europe?

We are spurs our kit is white top blue shorts and white/blue socks. If it wasn't for AIA slapped on the front in red it would be perfect. We are a football team not catwalk models. I don't want to make a fashion statement.
