The launch of the new kit was always going to coincide with the opening of the new shop. And if it’s 6 weeks before the season or 2 or 3 weeks who really cares. What difference does it make not like there will be a mad rush and they will sell out. The sales on the home shirt will be poor cause it’s just not very nice. Remarkable that 14 yr old kids on twitter can come up with a better design. How anyone can even think of this design is beyond me.

I don't care when we launch it.
What is boiling my piss is that it's available to buy in America but not in England.
We are an English club that may have sold it's soul for Nike's Amercian money.

I really think you'd benefit from getting outside a little.

Have there been any hints on what our third kit may look like yet?

Just the colours that are expected to be used really and that Nike's third kit theme this season will supposedly include subtle additions relating to the team's home town.

Nike's 2018-2019 third kit theme includes subtle graphics related to each club's hometown, in the case of the Roma 2018-19 third jersey its a subtle city map printed on the front. Towards the lower right side of the shirt we can see the area where the new Roma Stadium will be built.

On the collar you have the coordinates of the new stadium.

That's on the home shirt though I believe. The 3rd shirt is supposed to have a subtle pattern that has to do with the hometown...below is what is being used for Barcelona and the image that the design is based on. That would lead me to believe it's something more than the coordinates.

I hope they sow the badge on rather than have an iron on sticker. always thought it was a touch of class.

It'll be a patch on the stadium shirts and an iron on on the premium version, similar to the 17-18 shirts, it just won't be shield shaped this time around. Nike don't do embroidered team crests and haven't done for a long time.

It is my understanding that this is due to more of a comfort thing than anything else. Sewn on patches/numbers can cause discomfort/chaffing when it keeps rubbing against the skin, especially on tighter fitting clothing like kits.

This is true when running 10k+ - especially if they go near the nips.
Most fans sit on their arses eating pies and drinking beer though.

At least they're not doing the SpursITK hashtag that spectacularly backfired on them last summer but seems like we're getting closer.
