Started this a few weeks ago getting my info from another website and working it out on my own. Would've been a bit more straight forward if I'd noticed this thread. Have been slowly plugging away with the new customer offers and just today signed up to profit squad. Bit tricky changing my method but will probably use a bit of old and new. Made about £280 before today without spending more that 20 mins per session. Will go about it properly this weekend. Not really done it with football .It's all been racing and tennis. Not even looked at the daily offers or casino/bingo yet

Everyone should get on the monopoly loophole offer. There's a risk (I just about broke even) but people are making thousands out of it.

If thats the new one with Gamesys then I got on it a few weeks ago on the minimum deposit :(
Still on course for £150+ profit though if I can get the funds out.

Done it with starspins, virgin games and jackpot joy and made a whopping £12 profit.
Frustrating when you see people making and hundreds and even thousands.
It's why I don't do any of the slots offers because I never win anything, I have shite luck when it comes to slots.

Just made a £12.50 profit on the first one. Not lucrative but I literally sat and pressed a button for 30mins so hardly worthy of complaint!

That's the wrong mindset in my opinion. Do enough of them and you'll end up in profit. That's what them being "+EV" means. If you only do a few you could well lose.

I try and do every slot offer I can. No huge wins but was £300 or so up from them last month. Lost on some, won on others.

Can I just ask if everyone uses Betfair excahnge? I've been using Smarkets as advised by another Matched Betting blog because it only takes 2% commission rather than the 5% Betfair takes. is there a reason to use Betfair I don't know about? Thanks

There is usually more liquidity in Betfair, but liquidity shouldn't really be an issue if it's a high profile event. I use Smarkets because it's 2% commission, and if you're ever backing on Paddy Power, never use Betfair because it's the same company.

Regards the Bet 365 offer. Have avoided all offers so far that require you to bet through. Made a balls up of the Betway one when I was first starting out. Not sure i really understood it.. But this bet 365 one.. I know it's not always possible but I assume it's better to lose on bet365 and thus just transfer the funds to smarkets/betfair ? If I win a few times on bet 365 is it better to take your money as soon as you can from there or to keep betting and losing it to smarkets?

It depends on what types of offers you plan on doing. Yeah it is always good to have a fair chunk in the exchange but you'll obviously still need money in your bookies accounts to place the bets. I'd you're planning on doing horse or football refunds primarily, then most of the money should ideally be in the exchange.
But if you start doing something like dutching, then you'll need a fair amount in the bookie accounts as the vast majority of the time the exchange account will not be used for this.

I have about 2k spread out over about 20 bookie accounts which is ideal for me because I am now getting into dutching so I have stopped withdrawing from the bookie accounts.

Nearly fell into the PP & Betfair trap today. I won 3 free £5 bets from PP on their offer on the Chelsea v Arsenal game. Then spotted they had a horse at 8.0 on PP and 7.8 on Betfair and I was just loading my 3 free bets to get maximum returns when I remember they're both the same company.

You know, the cynic in me wonders if they set this up purposely to catch us out. Not this time PP!

Annoyingly I didn't see the PP Chelsea/arsenal offer, I did the Betway one though, missed out on £15 free bets!

Guys,

Little help here, I've built up a large(ish) pot in my BetFair Exchange account and have smaller pots of money in other betting apps.. Am I best to remove the cash from the apps and leave it in BF Exchange? I want to continue with the start up offers but don't want to keep spending from my bank account...

Thanks,

Ben

Yep, you're exchange is where you want the majority of your funds. You don't need to keep a balance is your various bookie accounts (at least while you're starting the NCOs).

Thanks for the advice Rob, probably up about £150.00 and done around 6 or so NCO's so pretty happy!

I've just signed up to the Totesport NCO and the only bet the match calculator is throwing up is for foreign games next Monday am I right in thinking I should be staying away from foreign bets?

Ideally yep.

If it's Inter vs Juve then it's not as bad as some 4th division Brazilian team.
