Very unfair on Warnock IMO

(not that I particularly like him)

Qpr fans have been discontent with him for weeks now though, just not as vocal as Blackburn over Kean.

They had a good start but have been woeful for ages now and are sliding closer and closer to the relegation zone.

Warnock doesn't seem to have a clue how to stem the tide of negative results so maybe it was the best time for them to move on while Hughes was still available.

A little harsh perhaps as Warnock did great for them last year, but how much time should they give him?? they have waited long enough to be back in the PL and with the amount of money Warnock was given to spend last window and the amount of weak teams in the league (not to mention how well Swansea and Norwich, teams who finished below QPR last year, are doing) they have a right to have expected him to be doing better than he is and can't afford to wait around and fight relegation for the sake of being fair to Warnock.

Hughes was available and I'd say an upgrade on Warnock and I have to say I think football at this level is pretty cut throat and Rangers would have been foolish not to make the move now.

Tony Fernandes is many things but he's not stupid

Your opinion. I think it's a stupid decision to sack him. Don't think he'll be able to bring a manager that could do a better job than Neil Warnock.

Bit like the Venkys when they sacked "Big Sam".

A joke decision. There are some stupid owners in this league.

To be fair to Tony Fernandes, he wasn't afraid to splash the cash when he first arrived, the signings don't seem to have quite worked out, from what he has been saying in the last few days he is gonna splash the cash this Jan aswell. Perhaps he doesn't want it wasted this time.

I also dint think that Joey Barton has really helped the club or Warnocks cause of late, with his on field and off field antics either.

Warnock's a bit unlucky to be sacked IMO. Surely his job for this season was to avoid relegation. They aren't in the relegation zone yet so surely he's doing his job so far .

As for Hughes he would be a good appointment for them but it's not exactly the leap from Fulham that he was meant to be looking for. The appointment would also destroy the rumours that he's already agreed to be the next Spurs boss after Harry leaves.

Very harsh, he had no money over the summer. Possible England manager perhaps...

Time will tell. The Blackburn Big Sam sacking was very different in that they would have been guaranteed safe lower-mid status with him every year. Venky's just wanted to put a yes man in place.

He's unlucky to get sacked so quickly, but as mentioned, he has had money to spend and they're starting to struggle. They obviously wanted to get a new man in while the window is open and they can strengthen with their own targets and concentrate on staying up.

QPR are an ambitious club and probably couldn't afford to go down, have to get rid of some players and start again.

The surprising thing is that they have some very decent players in the likes of wright-phillips, Faurlin and Barton. A big problem for them is how to use that mecurial talent of Taarabt. His career has nose dived in the last 6 months and he has been so petulant towards his teammates and the official that QPR would be best served selling him to Al Sadd for the reported 14m and reinventing that money in the defence and a striker. I also hope he get nowhere near the Moroccan national team too. That much talent with such a bad attitude is such a waste.

Hmm, rather saddened but not surprised.

Plus I would rather Hughes went to QPR than Spurs, I am still very unsure about him and he wasn't exactly setting Man City or Fulham alight.

There were equal rumours about Mourinho being the next Spurs manager and whilst I don't necessarily believe theose ones either, I know which rumour I would prefer to believe and that ain't having Hughes.

Obviously we don't know what happens behind the scenes so maybe the board and players weren't happy or maybe the board already have a good replacement lined up.

Warnock has spent considerably more than Norwich and probably on par with Swansea but they are by far the weakest out of the promoted clubs.

Not sure it's a great decsion but certainly not as shocking as some are making out.

England Manager????Future Spurs Manager????

This is one of football's most unpopular, unprincipled and unsavoury characters we're talking about here.

These are the opening programme notes from when his Sheffield UTD team played Burnley a few years back;
"Firstly I would like to offer a warm welcome to Burnley for the players, Chairman, directors and supporters of Sheffield United Football Club."

Note the omission.

Not for nothing is he known as COLIN WANKER (work it out for yourselves) amongst lower league clubs.

He's called Colin wanker for similar reasons that Wenger is called Arsehole Whinger.

Warnock has been less of a mad man in recent reasons. He's a decent manager and very entertaining. More entertaining than the brain dead Ian Holloway who everyone on here seemed to have a stalk on over.

You seem a bit obsessed with folk having stalk-ons for other folk, ATM, Kendall...everything alright down under
