they've tweeted that they are Arsenal supporters - shouldn't Uefa be turning to Arsenal?

I'm not sure that Arsenal FC can be held responsible for the idiocy of their fans in such a case! I mean it would be great if they were banned from European competition for 5 years but I think that would be seen by most to be a touch draconian.

Agreed, but at the very least the dullards have now gone on record as acknowledging that they're supporters of our biggest rivals, which will almost certainly be taken into consideration by UEFA.

It's one thing sending a message to a club that it needs to control its fans, but it's even more important to make it clear that such stunts from rival supporters would have ramifications as well.

Imagine if Spurs get the brunt of this and Inter fans carry out a similar stunt on AC...or Madrid fans on Barca...or numerous other examples. The wankers admitting that they're gooners should change things quite a bit.

Should not matter whose fans they were. Spurs have an obligation to keep fans off the pitch. They failed. Badly. Spurs security measures will need to be addressed and improved.

These wankers should be prosecuted. Everyone looks at it as a prank, but every successful attempt to invade the pitch makes it more likely that someone with worse intentions makes an attempt.

I totally agree.
The fact that this was a co-ordinated publicity stunt (which by all accounts worked and got more press than they could have hoped for, no such thing as bad press blah blah blah) makes not one jot of difference. Our club has a duty of care to it's players to keep fans from the pitch regardless of their intentions. If god forbid they had intentions to harm and actually did so then we would all rightly blame the club/ stewards for failing. Because no harm occurred, it shouldn't change opinions on it.
Tottenham Hotspur failed, blaming the idiots is easy, but so was getting onto the pitch 3 times!!!
Once could be put down to a lapse but 3 times??

Those three clowns should be prosecuted and legal proceedings brought against both the individuals and the companies they represent to recoup any fines we end up paying as well as damages.

Just suppose....they are actually Spurs supporters but as an apology, are actually trying to mitigate any blame on the club and at the same time casting blame on our rivals by saying that they Arsenal supporters?

Tbf think for UEFA this is also about the protection of players rather than a who done it. What if one of the supposed Albanians in the crowd had some intentions of making a statement on a player?

Yes the book should be thrown at those f***tards as it almost incites other idiots to try(at very worst could turn into an internet trend). However, fact is our security didn't seem handle this very well, perhaps they were in crowds checking tickets but no one seemed to know what to do

To allow one pitch invasion may be regarded as a misfortune:
to allow two looks like carelessness:
to allow three is rank incompetence and must be punished.

Agree with that, and to take it to its logical conclusion, if idiots keep invading the pitch, then back up go the fences. And some of us are old enough to remember what happened then. Of course that won't happen but the fences coming down was respected by the fans for years. Time to stop thinking this is in some way funny. Same goes for the dickhead who ran on at W Ham.

I was thinking more of disbanding the club itself as punishment.

If you're going to break their legs you don't tell them on twitter 1st, you just crowbar them, and say something really cool afterwards... like, "You just got pitch invaded bitch"
