It'll be another 50-55 game season, and we all know how short we were for pace when Bale and Lennon were injured for parts of last season. I think with Bale, Chadli, Lennon and Townsend we'll have perfect competition for the wide-forward spots, and enough players for a bit of rotation for the Cup competitions.

Plus, for the first time in about 6 seasons this means Lennon wont just walk straight in to the team, he'll actually have to raise his game and push on from where he's at right now if he wants to be starting in the PL. Everything about the Chadli move makes sense to me.

It will probably be one or the other. Lennon would fetch the bigger fee, but I would rather Dempsey left for sentimental reasons - but can't imagine DL thinking like that!
