Must have been watching a different game - I though he was terrible on Sunday, especially off the ball. Got flat footed several times, closing down was non existent and had no link with K Naughts (admittedly not his own fault). When brought into the middle was not so exposed, but still offered incredibly little.

I was a fan before.

I like him, good skills good in the air rarely gives the ball away.

I look at our signings and still believe we did good business my only concern is Soldado.

Not great yet is he - I also detect a lack of effort.

As all players, needs to be given a year

Pires was horrible during his first season. He went on to become one the EPL all time top players.

As a winger for a top class premierleague club aiming to eventually be title challengers,he is absolutely no where near close to being good enough. Would struggle to get in most Championship sides, pile of crap, waste of money. Can't cross,is slow,is predictable, can't shoot...I could go on.

If you did, you would just make yourself look even more intelligent.

I'd encourage you to continue on. The comedy is just too much to pass up.

I think he was probably signed as squad player given we got rid of so many. To his credit he's versatile, strong and reasonably talented. Meant to have a bit of a shot on him too.

The lack of pace is killer in the wing position though and Siggy is even slower. Both useful though.

He's hardly stood out, but I really don't think we should start passing judgement yet.

I find it hard to assess any of our acquisitions since we have had virtually no coordinated attack all season. It just doesnt seem fair to judge any of them with a new line-up every game.

Try him upfront if Ade is not going to be brought back in, not sure about him as a left winger yet but definitely not righting him off.

I agree. I feel he could do well here because he's got some height to him, can retain and pass the ball and can skin a defender to create himself an opportunity. But all of this is just my hunch.

Biggest thing for him at this point in time is working on his accuracy with headers. He wins so many damned headers he just needs to be a bit more accurate with them.

I like Chadli, hit the byline a few times against Lolpool, certainly not pony as some have suggested, let's take a look at him under the new management and see what it brings. Too many are quick to judge the new players.

He seems to be intelligent at passing. Set up fellow players decentely against Fulham and Sunderland, and remember he did the same against Norwich at home earlier this season. Also our greatest threat in the air contributing in both ends.

Now, hopefully with some time and confidence, he'll begin scoring some of all those goals he was doing when playing for Twente. I still think he'll come good. Really good, actually :)

I thought he was ok against liverpool, certainly not "great"

But he has shown in other games, that he can be a classy player. Some good passes, good runs, flicks, winning headers etc. All good signs that with a run of games he could become very useful. And for a small fee, Im happy with his progress thus far

He cannot possibly be judged as shit after his few appearances, if you want to do that you may as well say the whole squad is rubbish and should be sold as they've been out of sorts for 99% of the season in an attacking sense

We've not seem the best of any of our players (new or old) yet apart from a the odd glimpse and I still believe we have a great squad, but something about the way they were being told to play was holding them back. Chadli has the right attributes to get double figures for us for years to come if he's given a chance.

I guess I was referring to his attacking. No one defended well, obviously. And what do you mean by flat footed?
