I really hope this isn't true.

He is not worth it. Tidy player but offers nothing of note.

the guy has been here less than 6 months and has had 2 different playing styles to adjust to, plus injury. you cant write him off already surely.

All those disagreeing, can you tell me what he actually does then please.

Yes, he has an okay first touch, turn and pass sideways or backwards relatively well, but that seems it. Also is very slow on the ball, rarely moves it quickly and does not seem to spot any forward passes

Lamela offers more and most want rid of him
go back and watch him when he comes on yesterday - he receives the ball WHILST MOVING and rarely gives it away....the rest of the team were static in possession until he and Lamela came on.
The only part of your analysis that i agree with is that hes similar to Lamela (without the stepovers and hopefully dreadful injury luck).

He needs more playing time before we can make a true assessment. He was injured a few weeks ago with Argentina and need to find his feet in the Premiership. he has already scored a goal and shown some nice touches and will develop. If Eriksen leaves he is the only midfield player we have with any sparkle. Jose will give him more playing time.

30m or so buys you just kids these days. Lo Celso is far more than that. Unfortunately he plays for what is at the moment a team in dire form

I think it's more appropriate to mention that the team are still adapting to a new manager and not the same manager he bought into when signed.

Definitely one to keep and by us making the commitment to sign him on a perm I'm sure it'll help his confidence.

I bet you were one of those that wrote off Naby Keita after his first season for pool.

Lo Celso has had what, 3 starts to date for us?

Seriously mate, get a grip.
