5th place, a cup final and challenging for top 4 : sackable.

Getting rid of Poch at 14th place and on a seemingly irreversible downward slide : unacceptable.

Second most attempted tackles for us, second most successful tackles for us, an assist, more dribbles attempted and more successful dribbles than anyone on the pitch. Kane and Rodon had better games for us. Maybe Lloris. But he was clearly one of our better players yesterday.
I agree. I'm stunned to see the comments by JM regarding Tanguy based on yesterday's game. The only lapse I can think of is the last wayward pass of the game. Other than that he was pretty stellar in my view. But I am just a spectator, so what do I know right?

Or alternatively, if you recognise Tanguy as the god of football that he is, but also that he isn't a high intensity/energetic player, then you build the team around him to maximise his talent.

Like a Riquelme, or a Hoddle.

Nope he can be more than that, he's still learning so no reason why he can't turn into a midfielder who has a bit more bite and hardworking whilst still having the technical ability he has.

But we never have a stable eleven. He's constantly changing the line up especially in defence where most of our problems come from.
Yes, that is true. Things are not helped by the fact that each new combination he chooses is dreadful and that puts him in a Catch 22 situation.

As regards our centre halves....
Dier....poor,has to go
Sanchez...terrible ,has to go
Toby...ageing, should go but another year.
Tanganga....needs settled position, won’t be centre half with Jose.
Rodon...definite first team next year, star in the making,

We need two centrebacks in the Summer.

Just a thought, now Ledley is on the coaching staff,I presume he coaches the defenders. Spurs great or not ,give him something else to do.

No need to change the defence now as we only have the League games.
Tanganga....Toby...Rodon....Reguillon every game .

Problem, is Rodon cup tied for the Carabao, I think he is,God help us.

So a bit of a luxury player.
20/30 years ago you could build a team around that, now it’s 100% effort or not good enough

Kevin De Bruyne was seen as a luxury player before he went to Man City, Ndombele is far from the complete player but he has the tools to become an excellent all round midfielder like Yaya toure, it comes down to coaching.

But, 5th, 3rd, 2nd, 3rd, 4th plus two finals (one of which was the biggest possible) was the backdrop. Do we look like exceeding that after nigh on two seasons of JM? Yes, Poch out was probably the right call for all parties, but JM was supposed to take us on. Not plateau or regress. Remember, how we were underperforming in Poch's last 12 months or so, how the players were fine and it was all on Poch, etc. Well, that didn't age well. A "painful rebuild" isn't looking great under JM either. Personally, I could get behind JM if there were signs of progress, but we look horrible and the results are not there either. The fact he is now playing Tanganga, Rodon and CV suggests he is running out of both players who are with him and ideas. Don't like to see any Spurs manager or player struggle, but it feels done to me. The quotes from yesterday also indicate a certain momentum. Anyway, all of this has been done to death in the JM thread.

Because they all constantly let us down big time. Most cant be trusted so he's switching for resolutions. I would play Aldweiereld and Rodon constantly as a basis but I think at times Jose needs more pace at the back so Sanchez plays. I think he should forgo the pace, give up on it due to Sanchez's unreliability when pressured. I also dont think we have any fulbacks we can rely on defensively, not one. Davies gets stick but he's probably the most reliable (or maybe I've forgotten) but not as good going forward anymore.

When you take one of Europes most promising attacking talents and teach him to be defensive this is what you get.

Tanguy. Did you read his article on how Jose is making him in to a more defensive player?

If he aims to progress to the next level he's going to need to be more defensively aware. His role as a deeper midfielder where he can do the most damage will have to come with some sore of defensive responsibility.

Personally i think he can do the most damage playing higher up doing what he does best.
