A League Cup game in September is far from a Champions League Final, but Tuesday’s League Cup match between Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea was a Jose Mourinho performance culled from his best designs.

great game, If we can start games like we did in the second half .....well ....

After a couple of brain farts i thought he wont be starting very regulon but he grew in the game and produced a great cross with his right foot, he looks a tidy player and he ran all night, he was even the first to get to Hugo after the pens, will get better & better when things calm down a bit and he gets a run in the first team.

Coco motm without a doubt the best player on the pitch, such a selfless young man, we're lucky to have a player like him.

Thought Hojbjerg was a bit average when we first started out but his performance against newcastle was much better and he carried that on tonight, steady and more forward thinking than before.

Tanganga is going to be some player for us, for him to play like that after so long out, brilliant, love the way he presses to win the ball.

I think we showed great belief & desire tonight and that's credit to Jose & all the players.

It was ... well a masterclass .
We sat deep all half without looking like we were intending to win the game . Sussing out their patterns of play .
Second half they didn’t no what happened, couldn’t handle us a times.
We are coming good !

Agree with most of that. Couldn't see how that starting XI would pose a threat but they were excellent second half. Reguilon went from a 4 to an 8 overall. Showed what we lack with Davies on that side. I even thought Bergwijn did ok. It's very had to impress when you're in a team that doesn't play regularly and is hardly built for him to shine. Lamela was very good but I just wish someone would have coached him to release the ball earlier by now. The number of times he waits for a defender to close him don then kicks it at him...
