Disagree with Ronaldo. Very well respected by the majority of fans around the world, including me.

He also features quite a bit for the NT.

It has occurred to me before how awkward it might be if you're with your dutch mates in rotterdam watching the NT in a crucial WC knockout game, berghuis comes on and scores the heroic winning goal, how that celebration would've gone down, or what the chatter in the pub would be like.

I guess it's something you can ask an English spurs fan if Sol Campbell had done the same
This might actually happen tomorrow when Netherlands play Norway in Rotterdam. Dutch still need a win to guarantee topping the group.

I don't think he deserves a place on the list.

Paul Ince was intensely hated by pretty much every West Ham fan, as was Figo by Barcelona and Sol by us.

Kane is currently a divisive figure due to the way he acted in the summer and tried to engineer a move while pretending he wasn't. But he's far from a hate figure.
Tell that to the bloke 3 rows in front of me…

Zlatan Ibrahimovic by Malmö FF.

They decided to put up a statue of him in Malmö, he later became part-owner of Hammarby (Stockholm club). The statue is no longer there.
Swedish football rivalry is so fun - it's almost like everybody hates everybody regardless of which town or city they're based in.

Makes for some cracking atmospheres at games to be fair.

Most hated player by a club has to be John Arne Riise by Craig Bellamy's golf club ?

I remember Liverpool fans burned Torres shirts after he left for Chelsea, watched it on Sky Sports. I think Stoke fans were also burning some rags on a stick as well but that was just because they hadn't invented electricity yet.

Was this after they sold their greatest ever player, Berahino?

Utd, without question, Luke Shaw.

That appalling ‘tackle’ on Moura was an absolute cynical disgrace. As was the absence of a red card.
Uncultured, unprofessional, Total hack.

That reminds me of Charlie Adam and his tackles on Bale (one of which was in a friendly in the USA iirc) all those years ago.

Adam was universely hated by us for a few seasons after that, until he retired.

Have any players crossed the Boca/River Plate divide?

Don't know much about Argentinian football, apart from the fact that you'd probably get killed if you moved to your biggest rival.

Wilshere is a genuinely nasty, spiteful, thoughtless, callous, self centred egotistical ****.
Really, he is.
I hope, after what he done, he would be embarrassed for the rest of his natural but I doubt it because he's also a thick dumb as fuck, banjo playing low life.

He's still playing top flight football mate, in Scotland. For some reason, you've reminded me of this photo of him ??

I should add that he (Wilshere) was behind my gooner mates car while my mate was taking his terminally ill dad out of the car so as to go into the Emirates to watch a game.
They were in a parking space dedicated for the disabled and the like, but that little shit was sounding his horn and tapping his wrist and mouthing "fucking come on"!
Someone went to explain the situation and said to him that "it won't take a couple more minutes" when Wilshere said something like " I don't give a fuck, I'm late as it is get a move on".
It left a really bad taste in everyone mouth....and other gooners saw and heard him.
The ****.
