Here's a bit more about the Aspire Academy.

It seems they've been recruiting kids from predominately Africa. They're all under 17 atm, and by 2022, these current batch of kids will be at most 28, and so on. In all probability we could see a Qatar XI made of 11 players all born and raised in Africa. So don't be surprised if Ibrahim Drame is the star of the 2022 World Cup, not for his country of birth Senegal but Qatar.
Are they going to have to introduce a "have to be BORN in the country you play for" rule into international football then?
They should at least demand a proven ancestral background. It is supposed to be a national team after all.
