Great stuff. Welcome home Daws.

Weird isn't it. I'm either even more doolalley than I thought, or I very much remember that Daws used to get absolutely slated on here, much like Dier actually.

I am really happy with news. REALLY HAPPY. I really love this guy. I didn't realise how much I love him, you know, until recently one of our players not wanting to come back, and most importantly some of the really best players we have that played with their whole hearts out left us... It's really these happenings that make me so appreciative of people like big Daws who still has that much affection for us. Just look at his smile there in some of the pics, toasting with Ledley and them together looking out the tunnel and reminiscing those moments through the photos...

I do have some tears in my eyes seeing that, no joke, but of true happiness. At least there is still another guy there who loves the club so deservingly who can deserve our love as well... Thanks Daws.

We are delighted to announce Michael Dawson as a new Club Ambassador following his decision to retire from playing.

‘Daws’ first joined us from Nottingham Forest in January, 2005, at the age of 21, quickly establishing himself at the heart of our defence. He went on to make 324 appearances for us in all competitions – including 236 in the Premier League – and was captain of the Club during the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons.

I loved his diagonals - different class

I really liked him as a player and even listening to him as a pundit - you can tell he has a lot of love for the club...

Loved him and then his attitude under AVB made me love him that little bit more.

One of the old breed. ⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely love this both ledley and dawson. Two players that gave absolutely everything for the badge. To see them reunited in a new chapter is wonderful to see and a wonderful representation for our club.

Just goes to show that your character, conduct, loyalty and personality are as important as skill when it comes to being remembered fondly and welcomed back to Spurs like it's your home.

what you trying to say? do some of our current players not display these attributes? I’m shocked!!

Seems to have a permanent gig now on soccer Saturday which is nice to see. They usually bash us when was Arsenal top heavy, at least may get some balanced views now. He’s just a very likeable guy almost a shame he hasn’t gone into management but maybe to nice for it.
