Watching against England, he was excellent and really brilliant finisher. He would be great for us actually but seems its just rumor and unlikely, but I feel he’d be a great fit.

I really wish we had a concrete interest in him. Doesn't seem like he'd cost that much, and he's a far better footballer than Richarlison.

"b-but he's old!"
How well has hoarding all the top young talent worked for Chelsea so far?
Older age should not be viewed as a bad thing. What they lack in longevity they make up for with experience and mentality. Taremi has been a scoring and assist machine for like 4 years now, and has backed it up in both league, international and champions league level. £21.4m isn't that much either.

If the club feels there's not the right long term option out there in terms of a striker this window and maybe they have someone in mind that might be available further down the line, don't think Taremi as a short term option would be the worst thing in the world on a 2-3 year contract tbh.

Yes not a long term signing but shown he is handy in front of goal and was the highest scorer in the the Portuguese league albeit with one of the strongest teams in the league, scored 5 in the CL last season and he looks pretty handy. Think he'd handle the physical side of the league without issue. His contract is up next year so think Porto can probably forget about €30m. If at the late knockings, Porto drop the price and we are looking at say £15m-£18M, could see us biting imo.

It's a bit like Liverpool opting for Endo who although is 30 years old, came for a low fee by todays standards. Sounds as though they want Andre from Fluminense or possibly someone else but they are not available this window so opted for Endo to tide them over

I think he’d be a really shrewd late addition. Consistent as hell and knows exactly how to put the ball in the back of the net. Richy softens them up running like a maniac for 60 minutes then this guy in to deliver the knockout blow.

There's absolutely no correlation between how well Chelsea's young players have done vs how well Taremi might do for us. There's no link whatsoever.

It wasn't a direct comparison, champ. The point is mindlessly signing a bunch of hyped up young players doesn't always work out, and too many young players can result in a lack of leadership and character within a squad.

Calciomercato source? Come on. They just rehash old links to get a few clicks and views through the aggregators/garbage sites like sportswitness.
