Watching against England, he was excellent and really brilliant finisher. He would be great for us actually but seems its just rumor and unlikely, but I feel he’d be a great fit.
Tottenham still in hunt for striker - 85% clause is causing transfer problems - Sport Witness
Tottenham need at least €30m to sign Mehdi Taremi from Porto this summer, with the Portuguese side’s 85% ownership of the player causing problems. That’s according to Calciomercato, who say Tottenham could still make a move for the Iranian as they look to replace Harry Kane. The website says...sportwitness.co.uk
I really wish we had a concrete interest in him. Doesn't seem like he'd cost that much, and he's a far better footballer than Richarlison.
"b-but he's old!"
How well has hoarding all the top young talent worked for Chelsea so far?
Older age should not be viewed as a bad thing. What they lack in longevity they make up for with experience and mentality. Taremi has been a scoring and assist machine for like 4 years now, and has backed it up in both league, international and champions league level. £21.4m isn't that much either.
I think he’d be a really shrewd late addition. Consistent as hell and knows exactly how to put the ball in the back of the net. Richy softens them up running like a maniac for 60 minutes then this guy in to deliver the knockout blow.Tottenham still in hunt for striker - 85% clause is causing transfer problems - Sport Witness

There's absolutely no correlation between how well Chelsea's young players have done vs how well Taremi might do for us. There's no link whatsoever. How well has hoarding all the top young talent worked for Chelsea so far?
It wasn't a direct comparison, champ. The point is mindlessly signing a bunch of hyped up young players doesn't always work out, and too many young players can result in a lack of leadership and character within a squad. There's absolutely no correlation between how well Chelsea's young players have done vs how well Taremi might do for us.
