Son is back soon and Benfica just got their cash. Do they need more? I don't know.

Funny thing is whoever we bring in might not even make the bench come post international break.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Poch. But it's so good to have a manager who decisive in the transfer market. I get the feeling that Jose's wish list of players was 20 times bigger than Poch's. He'll work with them if they have his main core characteristics whereas Poch may have been too fussy or too loyal to the team he had.

I know Levy has upped his spending but that started before Poch left with Tanguy and GLC. We've gotten good value in this window it has to be said. No matter who signs from here on in.

It's imperative we offload a few now though or we could be screwed for the next couple of windows.

Its true and it really highlights why Llorente was perfect for us at the time. Pity he wasn't 2 years younger.

A consistent, good striker is like gold dust. Now that we're a more illustrious name in the modern game with all the facilities you could hope for, attracting and holding onto a better class is possible. Hopefully we've really done our homework.
