ATM It all boils down to your own personality...……………..
Are you, like me, an optimist or are you like many, many, many seem to be on here.

As Poch himself says...…… just believe in the club, the players and the manager and his team.

I hope and believe he will stay and appreciate very much the info from @Grey Fox

It is the right fit for him and us.

As an aside....amazing tunnel vision shown by UK press and pundits alike....they keep saying he shouldn't stay with us because Utd are too big....well, Real Madrid are bigger, better and have a far better squad....and that job is open this summer.

Why would a top manager (apart from Zizou) take the Utd job over the Real one?

Anyone who has seen those quotes today, read the comments from multiple ITKs and still is adamant he will leave will never be convinced otherwise

We've even had one of the top sports writers saying he should stay at Spurs.

Anyone remember when 'me or another' had loads on here think he was nailed on for Madrid in the summer? Well he's still here. Now apply that to the bit at the end about the 'platform'.

Of course there's a chance, but I genuinely think he's more likely to stay and see this project out for a couple more seasons, and evaluate his options then.

Don't you just have so much good will and feeling to Poch?
I am so proud that he is our manager and the pride in our team and club has never been higher since Burkinshaw and Billy Nick.
I will be devastated if he bails out god forbid.

While it does seem a positive article the last paragraph can be taken as Tottenham can carrying on without him.

For sure. Or it could be interpreted as it not being quite as simple as just him (the one person) being wanted by Man Utd. Who knows?

I hope we do something about the media. Maybe ban all the ones involved from the new stadium for a while. There are already reports not only linking Poch to Utd but also linking other managers to us. They're already trying to force everything into place to suit their own agenda. Hopefully once Levy is finished putting all his efforts into the stadium he'll fight back. Imagine we open this iconic new stadium and certain media were not allowed in. I would fucking love that.

If MP can somehow get TA and CE to sign new contracts that would send out a huge statement of intent without mention those northemers once

When I read Poch's reply to this interview, I cant help but think these orchestrated replies were written / prompted by our media department . Poch has many footballing attributes but articulating how he feels in English is not one of them (should be after 5 years). which I find frustrating........so what I am trying to say is that we are controlling the narrative to suit the club.

Facebook followers Man Utd 73 Million, Real Madrid 106 Million. Twitter followers Man Utd 16 Million , Real Madrid 28 Million, Instagram followers Man Utd 20 Million, Real Madrid 54 Million, there is no doubt who are No 1 in the world.

Not sure that's wise...they'll just print more negative shit in retaliation.
Yesterday Jim White was comparing our press guy to when that White House reporter was stopped from asking Donald Trump questions.

Don't get me wrong, I was happy the little Sky turd was told to shut up, but from the outside it's really not a good look.
If we don't want the questions being asked, then all this can be completely stopped very easily by Poch.

The thing is - HOW can it be stopped by Poch? He hasnt been approached nor has the club. How can he reject or talk about something that so far doesnt concern him?

I will not join Manure (then Manure turn around and say - we weren't going to hire you anyway)

Now Poch can pledge his future but he has already done that by talking about the future - but yeah the future changes.

But he has tried to stop it. He’s said twice in the last week he’s happy at spurs and he has a 4 and a half year contract. I’m not sure what else he can say to make people believe he’s not going anywhere

I still think it comes down to what backing Danny gives him in the transfer market. He's doing wonders, but as Klopp said recently considering everything that's happened since the start of the season (players late back from the WC, no incoming transfers, injuries etc. etc.) it's remarkable he's got us where we are presently.

There comes a time though when he'll the injection one or two of quality players to make the team even better, but if he doesn't get them & he feels he's taken us as far as he can, then maybe he'll see MU as a better option. I hope it won't be this season, but we need Danny to pay as much attention to improving the squad as he is to the stadium. If he does then I think there's a good chance Poch will want to finish the project & build a legacy.

Yeah I get that, but I don't see why what the press guy said couldn't be said by Poch, the narrative now is that the oppressive club won't let the press ask Poch questions he'd love to answer.
Let them ask, let Poch tell them he's already answered the question last week...next question?
These press guys get to ask very few questions, 1 maybe 2 each...they'll stop asking about it when they realise they're wasting their questions.
My main point was the notion of banning certain press outlets is a bit daft really.
Asking Poch to comment on something Les Reed said on a TV show the night before, in a press conference regarding our upcoming match against Everton, was stupid...but we could've handled it better imo.
