My only problem with this is the Baldini bit, and it's not the first time Neville's brought this up. You only have to look at how the club kept him on after the infamous Bale window to see he clearly wasn't wholly responsible or doing a bad job overall. Considering Neville's position in the game, especially is England assistant manager, you thought he might have been more privy to that.

Great article from Neville. You can't really argue with much of that and it's a great read from a supporters point of view. Good to step back and actually see what Poch has achieved so far and obviously excited to see where his journey will take us

Will be very interesting to see how he does if or when he moves in to fulltime club management.

Can't see it, but I'd happily have him in a role in our coaching set up learning from Poch

I'd love him to be involved at Spurs. Would give valuable insight to our young squad on what it takes to be a winner.

It's good to have positive feed back from the media... Let's not get carried away bec we have not reach half of the season. I am positive but our lads must have quiet confidence and not going around making big claims. We have many more big games to come away from home and we are a bit stretch with key positions if there are injury.

The core team is doing a fantastic job but we need those in the reserves to push for 1st team and a reinforcement for Kane. I hope Poch gets an answer from Bentelab, Mason, Njie... Someone need to step up 2 gears for 2nd half of the campaign.

I am hopeful.

That's good to read, esp coming from Neville who I think genuinely knows what he's on about.

But ask me who I would model myself on as an aspiring coach right now and in a flash I would give you the name of Mauricio Pochettino.

That makes me very proud.

It's an absolutely huge thing for him to say.

Agree with this. It is frustrating to hear Trix's convincing information about how and why all these years weren't as successful as they should have been and how distant that truth seems to be from even the best minds in the media.

Oh and fantastic article, I wonder when G Nev will take his step into management. I always find it odd that Giggs is seen as "the new chosen one" for utd when Neville is probably the better candidate.

Even as a player he was hugely underrated. I always rated him but he is really coming into his own as a pundit. Makes the likes of Redknapp look like a proper retard.......moreso.
